Hi Kyle, I'm trying to complete WA certification part 3 and am confused. I went to shopping.com affiliate and they want me to upload a file to my siterubix site to prove domain ownership. I not sure where to upload the file for their site to see it?Any info appreciated. Thanks, Jim
They should give you instructions on how to do this. You may not be able to do this on a FREE website (siterubix.com) so you may want to move onto a different affiliate program. There are lots out there in pretty much every niche. Simply do a search in Google for another program.
Thanks for this. I can't wait to read more. I was trying to do it myself and one thing I was having difficulty with was the initial photo; the one I tried to upload was way too big and I couldn't size it down. No matter how much I cropped it, it was still gigantic on my wordpress site. ???
Yeah, some stuff like this you will get the hang of. You can adjust the size of images that you import into Wordpress, you simply choose the "size" as you are uploading it. You will get the hang of it though through experience.
Hi Kyle, Good video. But with my low vision I had difficulty seeing the arrow/pointer. Could you enlarge the pointer to be more visible for us visually impaired learners?
Yeah, on a bit of a roll here. As of next week, uploading videos here at WA is going to be much easier so these videos will be hosted at WA (and any new ones going forward). It is going to be very beneficial for those that want to create training.
Good video. Is the exclude pages plugin still necessary? Wordpress' menu system handles this by letting you put whatever pages in the menu you need to show and excluding those you don't need to show.
This is for the menus that are associated with your theme. Sometimes you can't manipulate this without a theme. This allows you to exclude pages from the main menu.
