Haven't achieved success yet?

Tried stuff with no results?

Quit a few things along the way?

There is one thing that will limit you from creating success and to find this out, you only need to do one simple thing.

Look in the mirror.

Yes, that is BOLD. I know and I am sorry if it offends you. If it does, perhaps you are the one that needs to hear this the most. Anyone and everyone can achieve success. There are no limitations to what you can achieve now that we are all on an even playing field.

The Internet has truly created an environment where everyone can succeed. Wealthy Affiliate is a platform that you can leverage to create this success. There is absolutely no barrier to entry other than...

YOU.

So if you find yourself asking "does this work?" or "how long does it take for this to work?" or "can I make money doing this?" you are heading in the wrong direction. YOU are what will make this work, YOU are what will make this work now (versus) later, and YOU are determines whether or not you make money in business.

I hope this hits home with some folks there that are looking for something happen on its own. You need to make it happen!

I have experienced success but it's maintaining it, is the problem I have been having.

Don't maintain, scale. Then you don't have to worry about the maintenance part. When you try to maintain something, I think you will find your business trickling away from you. Always aim to grow.

What do you mean by scale?

Grow. Take your existing business and what you have experience success with and keep building on that.

Inspirational Kyle. Thank you.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

Not too sure who said this but: " What the human mind can Conceive and Beleive, it can Acheive" Tough post Kyle, But True! Haven't quite cracked the success level that I am looking for but I do know that it is possible and that the only thing truly standing in my way is ME! Will press on Regardless. Thanks. David

No matter who said this, it should be what we all say to ourselves each and every day. You will get there David, it is weird how it happens and at times you will feel like you are working for very little, but when it clicks you have a scalable business. Once you have a scalable business, you can scale.

Press on, you will get there.

I beleive that is Napolean Hill, from Think and Grow Rich. An awesome learning resource. Keep up the good work and thinking of your success.

Yes, that is correct. :) One of the first business books I ever read...a timeless classic.

I took my reply off. Nobody can say I haven't worked at this without lots of persistence and in spite of opposing forces.

There's still the element of having or not having what it takes. Not that I can't write articles and build websites, but that I'm missing important elements that are needed that are more basic than what's on here.

Winners never quit and quitters never win. That's very true. But there's one thing folks forget...

Winners also know when to quit when things become impossible. Sure, there are obstacles. But what happens when one becomes totally backed into a corner and all resources are gone? Literally get blocked and can't move any way but backwards...

I took the other one down because I was angry when I wrote it., realized that you came to it and stopped short of replying to anybody else's because mine was there. it was negative even though it had an element of rejuvenation in it, it was vague.

Sometimes failure is easier, but ... is it really??? I will address it again in this light...

i want to. I REALLY want to! But why can't I? I have been here for a WEEK trying to fix my Internet connection! I just bought the best network adapter I could find, just so I could shine on here... i can't return it per store policy on electronics. Albeit, when, and if, I can resolve this stupid problem, that adapter is twice the strength of the old one.

It had NO effect. I've tried everything I know how to do. I continually have to reset this connection every ten minutes! I had to fight with my landlord to give me the code. He wasn't going to give it to me until I found a full-time job.

The post above weighs very heavy on me. It is incontrovertible.

I am still angry but I'm writing easier and not so bitter. I am human. I have my limitations and I feel I'm very close to mine.

Daniel, I did get back to your other post but perhaps you deleted it at the same time I posted.

You are going to be just fine, you are eloquent and smart. The only thing that creates doubt in your ability is you. Sure, you may have some forces working against you, but some of the biggest success stories out there (and the most inspiring ones) took place despite some of the most awkward situations.

I took it down Kyle because I'm very angry and not at what you wrote, but that it is exactly what I see in the mirror. It was very strong and it needed not be there. I had to think of others who would have read it.

Perhaps in time I will be able to look back and see the success story you say I have. For now I can't see it. I don't know how some people write back being so honored for me to have followed them being the giant they say I am. I have to remind them that I'm at their level.

I'm growing very impatient. I know that's wrong. I take this stuff very seriously. It brings me to tears sometimes. Because I know what I want and it's always so close but it's like inside of a display case where I can see it but can't touch it!

Sometimes, in spite of what others say of me, I feel so unworthy to be here. But I will keep on going. Perhaps I need more support than others. I am human and am imperfect in spite of what I've written here. Anything I write, everything...applies to me. I'm never a pontificate trying to teach as if I were an expert, but teach in order to learn.

One thing I have never understood is the fact that you can express yourself so well, you write more than I think anyone I have ever seen, but you are not seeing results. Perhaps you have not found your true passion yet. You have not found the niche that is right for you yet?

I can tell you that when things click, they will really click. You will be off and away.

Don't know either Kyle.

I can do so well in here but it only goes as far as the walls of this city and not outside. GoPro camera and WA. I am getting a few referrals. I just got one today but weeks have passed until I got today's.

One thing is for sure...

I'm very passionate about Wealthy Affiliate...more than just about anything else.

I should be making all my income from here alone by now. That's what makes me angry at myself.

Find a medium in which you can get people into the community and latch onto it. This may be your website, this may be another forum, this may be a social network, this may even be offline. If that is your passion, then be creative in your research, try new things, find out what work and what doesn't, and scale what works.

This could be the promotion of WA or anything else.

Yes, I have been working with different ways, though probably not as creative with it as I should. WA is where all of my online income, however tiny it is, comes from.

and hey Kyle, you and Carson have removed that final external barrier to entry when you created the free version of WA. Free to keep ! Pretty amazing. Thank you on behalf of all those who use it to get themselves started.

Yeah, the barrier to entry truly is nothing now (other than an Internet connection). The playing field is flat and we are living in a microcosm of what the Internet economy has created. We can all succeed and we can do so in a pay it forward sort of way, but our personal success is reliant first and foremost on one thing, OURSELVES.

Hey Kyle,

Great post here. I pop in to chat all of the time and these questions you post here are always being asked. The bottom line is ANYONE can achieve ANYTHING they want to, but sometimes failure is just easier. It doesn't have to be. Where there's a will there's a way!

Yeah, these are very common questions and they do stem from self doubt. Hopefully many people that are asking these questions will read this post and things will be perspective for them.

Those that achieve are those that do. It has nothing to do with what others are doing. There is enough room for all of us to succeed in this vast online world.

The greatest saying I have ever read was from Andrew Carnegie (America's first billionaire)-------------I read this every day and I have achieved from this statement.

"There is a power under your control that is greater than Poverty--greater than the lack of education--greater than all your fears and superstitions combined---it is the power to take control of your own mind and direct it to what ever ends you desire"

Listen carefully to me--my name is Bob Orow--I only have a high school education --I am 65 yrs old and since I came home from Viet Nam in 1969 I started a home improvement business that I still own to this day because of reading this statement.
Now I am starting an internet business and there is not one doubt that I won't make it.
Here is why---YOU--WA--AND THIS PLATFORM. I have never seen a more healthy business environment that is more honest and lucrative. I know that I will fall on my butt a lot of times but I will get up and because of the caliber of people here at WA helping me and the system I CAN'T FAIL AND NEITHER WILL YOU--- BECAUSE ALL OF US HAS "THE POWER. Copy it and read it every day --take action and expect to succeed.
Bob Orow

That is a powerful statement by Carnegie and some nice insight by you Bob. I think people do not understand the power that they truly possess. We are told over and over that we cannot do it (by people that secretly hope we don't). This is manufactured and is reaffirmed when we ourselves give an haphazard attempt to something.

Growing up as a child you believe that absolutely everything is possible. As you grow up, nothing is possible. You deem yourself incapable. Why? Why is it so hard and impossible to write a 400 word article now, but why was it so easy to believe you were going to one day fly to space when you were younger? YOU.

You are as good as you believe you are.

Thanks for another great bit of encouragement to us all!

Sammi:)

It's all up to YOU! (but there is tons of help here along the way)

Aye Sir!, Thank you for the "reality check" Sir, And Pressing on Sir!!

Press on. Well said.

When in doubt, PRESS ON. I have to give myself a reality check sometimes on things that I am doing (or not doing) and I think it is good when we can look in the mirror and say "what the heck am I doing and why isn't it working?" or "what they heck am I doing and why it is working?". Both can be quite conclusive and lead to growth.

There are a lot of great people here that can help, but ultimately success is the result of trials and tribulations associated with the path you decide to take. We hit bumps, walls, and cliffs along our path to success, but this is natural. Don't fear it, embrace it and take action on the present situation while retaining your vision for your ultimate goals.

There is a wonderful saying, when there is wind some people build walls where others build windmills. Be that person building a windmill to maximize the benefit from your situation, regardless of what it is.

Yes Kyle. Well said.

I've tried to put on a lot of my friends but all I end up hearing is excuses about why they can't make it work.

"I don't have enough time."
"I can't write those articles."
"I don't have money for domains/hosting."
"I tried it. It's hard to understand. Can you show it to me personally?"
"What's that site you told me about AGAIN that you use?"

Awesome story Jay! Your story sounds very similar to mine.

People doubted what I was doing when I started. I was told that money could not be made on the Internet and when I started making money, people wanted a hand out. Just tell me how to do it, I don't want to learn it myself...that sort of thing.

Unfortunately when people see success they don't understand that everyone had a journey to get there. It didn't happen with the flip of a rock, it happened with cumulatives action(s) and a series of learning experiences. My journey looks different than yours, but the principles are very much the same.

I worked hard even though I didn't have much time...I made time.

I had next to no money when I started, in fact I had to borrow my girlfriends credit card to get started (wife now).

I had NO experience when I started, but a dream I was willing to work towards.

I spent countless hours figuring it out with little return, but the $0 was just a number. The experiences I learned when getting started were worth far more than the $0.

People spend $80,000 to go to university with no return. They somehow treat their own successes completely different. If they can't succeed in a month, they quit...but they are willing to pay for school for 4 years with ZERO success. Doesn't make sense, but people don't think sometimes nor do they put their time into perspective!!

Your success has been well deserved and I am glad you found WA back in the day when you did!

What a Great Story everything you said there is the gospel true and very inspirational we all need it from time to time to make it in life am really blessed to be a member of WA cos of people like you and many others here.

There is No failing here only Success if you push on, you will definitely make it, for my Father always tell me that ''Life is how You Make it '' and not how anybody else makes it for you. The Buck Stops on Your Desk.

We really do not have any more excuses after reading all these inspirational stuff from you Real guys. Thank You All for Sharing. It's Time Now to Take Real Action and keep pushing on your success is around the corner . Come on Guys Lets Do It Together!

Being in here is much like being in athletic training. There are those days when we don't feel like it. This is the time to shun those feelings and do it anyway. This is why I am still here.

I know success is soon to come. It's is a matter of tweaking the weak spots until the table turn and the scales tip the other way.
