Las Vegas 2019. Incredible. 2020 Will Be Insanity.

Last Update: February 06, 2019

Hey Everyone,

We have just returned from our annual Super Affiliate Conference in Las Vegas. As with past years, the trip is something that we look forward to and anticipate an awesome time, but they always seem to top expectations in every way! This year was no different. The group of super affiliates that came down were amazing, many new faces, many second year folks, and many people that have been there for 5+ years now.

I always like to come back and offer everyone here with some insight into the actual event itself, as well as offer some insight into our decision-making process, some things that we have planned, and our overall motivates behind every decision that we do make.

So let's begin, starting with how YOU can make Vegas next year...

The Opportunity. 300 Sales in a Calendar Year.

For those of you that do not know, we run an incentive based opportunity here with our affiliate program that ANYONE can take part in and that anyone can achieve.

Here is a breakdown of the Super Affiliate Incentive program. If you can make 300 unique Premium referrals (someone upgrades from Starter => Premium) from January 1st, 2019 to December 31st, 2019 you will get invited to our annual Super Affiliate Conference.

Anyone is more than capable of achieving this, and many of the folks that were in Vegas this year were able to achieve this as a result of taking action training here the prior year. If you are interested in working towards this incentive and building a full time and sustainable business promoting a service that you love (Wealthy Affiliate), I recommend that you head over to the Affiliate Bootcamp and get rolling.

There are 7 Levels of training within Bootcamp, and it will literally walk you through the process of starting out, right through advanced techniques to scaling and growing your business.

The 2019 Super Affiliate Conference

Day 1: The Meet and Greet

We fly in the first day and we always get together for a meet in greet. There are always new faces in the crowd, and a lot of the old faces that come to Vegas each and every year. It is the opportunity for us to all hang out, get to know one another, share stories over the past year, and ultimately build amazing bonds with the amazing folks that come to Vegas every year.

And I don't say that, just to say that. These are all people that I respect, that I thoroughly enjoy being around (Carson feels the exact same way), and that are very intelligent. They also share one thing in common with us, they want to help people. They are, plain and simple, NICE and compassionate people.

This is a good time to get to meet the new faces as well as catch up with friends from past years that we haven't seen in person. The thing about these events is that we are all the same type of people, nice, caring and authentic. This just happens to be the type of person that the Wealthy Affiliate community attracts.

We have the evening catered, so lots of good food, drinks and conversation. It creates a great deal of comfort heading into the first day of the actual round table discussions.

Day 2: Getting Down to Business (and some fun)

When guests arrive in the morning, our not so round (rectangular) table was full of this years SWAG, and the materials they need to follow along with years conversations. It is usually more of a "book" because we have so much going on, and so many platforms/ideas that we are looking to implement in the year ahead. This years outline of "things going on behind the scenes" was 37 pages in length!

Along with this, we have the entire day catered, including breakfast platters, lunch, and of course refreshments. This is the case each day that conferences are going on.

Here you can see some pictures of this years "big table" before we got down to business!

You can see we have padfolios, pens, coffee mugs, charging batteries and a few other goodies, and some "spending" cash that people can use for whatever they like, to gamble or otherwise.

After the day, we usually wrap things up in the evening with a 'socail' event. This year we did Craftsteak, one of our favourite restaurants in all of Vegas and it is certainly our favourite steakhouse.

See a pic below of a few of us enjoying dinner.

Day 3: More Business, Collaboration, and Idea Sharing (and a nice dinner)

We had some more amazing discussions on day 3. Some more interesting conversations surrounded new platforms that we have coming at WA, and the overall strategy and approach to "getting people over the hurdle". Everything that we build here at WA is for you and is to help you create and grow a business online with more ease.

This also includes helping newcomers getting over technological hurdles, and also the motivational hurdles that prevent them from success. This of course could mean many things to many people, and this is something that we are constantly working to refine.

We have some brilliant training roll outs, some brilliant new platforms, and many overall system improvements that are going to help further advance, refine and polish the platform here at WA in 2019 (and well beyond).

We didn't become the industry leaders in the affiliate marketing space by sitting on our laurels and we certainly will not be in 2019.

The Day 3 evening was ended with a Japanese night, with a wide array of Japanese food, different types of sushi and sashimi, warm appetizers from a world-famous Morimoto restaurant that catered the food. We also had a large selection of Japanese beer for refreshments. It was great fun, lots of amazing sushi that was specifically made to order by the head Morimoto sushi chef.

During this event, we also had the top "up close" magician Robb Weinstein, perform sleight of hand magic for several hours blowing all of our minds! It was amazing! See some pics below.

Day 4: A Bit of Business, and Then A LOT of Fun

We usually wrap up the final day with a half day session, followed by our farewell session at night. We like to really do it up on the last night, and surprise the Super Affiliates with a new location. This year we relocated to the Wynn Encore for our final evening together.

We had a bartender serving several feature cocktails, everything from Champagne based drinks to an Old Fashions with a twist. The room was over 6,000 square feet and had enough room for everyone to comfortably hang out, socialized, shot some pool and listen to live music.

Yes, live music.

We were able to get Jesse Roper, a very talented Canadian blues musician, out of his busy touring schedule to come down to Vegas and play several hours of acoustic for us "in room".

Jesse Roper has been establishing a solid footprint in the blues industry over the past few years and has accrued a very lively following. He is an incredible guitarist, and he has the vocals to match. I grew up with Jesse right from elementary school and if you want to hear some of his awesome music, I recommend that you download his Albums on Apple Music or Spotify. He has a lot of radio hits here in Canada, and it is just a matter of time I believe before his career shoots to the moon.

The evening was a lot of fun and it ended with a lot of "see you next year" comments. We can't wait to see the entire group back, along with some new faces (perhaps YOU?) next year in LV.

The 2019 Game Plan

Alright, as I write this I am now back to reality and I have had time to digest the Vegas Experience. As I have said in the past, it only continues to get better and this year has been no exception. The group that was there this year was nothing short of amazing, the conversations and discussions we had solidified (and in some cases slightly changed) our direction in 2019, and we are more amp'ed than ever about the future at WA.

The platforms that we have slated for this year are going to be rolled out through 2019, with many of them in very late stages of development and coming as soon as a few weeks from now. It is going to be a very busy spring!

We have brand new platforms coming. We have new versions of existing platforms coming. We have micro and macro improvements to existing platforms and services. We have more training, and updated training coming. We have more levels of support coming. And we are doing this all for ONE and only ONE reason, YOU!

Our goal has been and always will be to put our community first. We are in the business of helping people and doing so in a way where we can offer the best service in the industry (I think by a country mile), for the best price (also, by a country mile).

We are keeping the foot on the pedal this year. We are the busiest we have ever been, but we also have the most polished and refined internal development process (and a skilled team of programmers). Expect big things out of us, we will not disappoint!

Here is to a brilliant 2019 ahead, and we hope to see many new faces in Las Vegas next year for our 2020 Conference, yourself included!

How many trips have you earned? I am starting late but I am going to do my best. I am at this full time. Just learning right now but I hope to be up and running by the middle of June or sooner. I am excited. I have never been to Vegas but I have a timeshare and was looking at going anyway next year. It would be awesome to be in the group of people rocking this Affiliate program and get a free trip.

I've only been here since 2016, so I've only been able to do this once so far, hoping again for Vegas 2020.

It's definitely a special trip worth working very hard for.

Best of luck to you!

My plan for Las Vegas is going to be to promote WA to my targeted audience. I am building a moming website and I plan on incorporating WA into it. I want to help stay at home moms, but mostly those moms who feel they are stuck in a dead end job. I know many mothers who could benefit from WA and I am excited to be able to offer them such a great program.
Reply

Awesome, yes very true alot of moms love to stay at home moms and yet make money. I am a mom of 4 and I needed the flexibility of a schedule well working and making a living to support my children and I . I was great at sales, customer service, but never done a building a website. Strive for success, WA is a postive community. If you have questions just ask anyone. Chat and live chat , people are very good about helping.

Originally I planned on hoping to achieve at least 200 referrals this first year, and 300 in my second, but this is no easy feat.

I'm thinking a more realistic goal would be 50 referrals my first year and add 100 for each year after that.

Hope to see you guys in about three years!

I will not be able to make the Las Vegas Conference because I am responsible for seeing to my moms medical care. I am her medical POA and soon to be her financial POA so she is my priority. My next goal is to start to make money with WA so I can quit my job (it's ironic that I want to quit my new job but unfortunately I cannot start to work only WA without any revenu) and live only with WA, work wherever I want, whenever I want.

My other goal is to gain WA referrals from people in my Deaf community. I have a lot to learn on here. Tip for the founders -if Deaf or Hard of Hearing people attend who use American Sign Language (ASL), to communicate like myself would you be willing to see if you can find anyone who is WA, Premium Members who knows ASL fluently to translate the conference? If you obtain a professional sign language interpreter in Vegas, it will cost a lot. Would be worth it for us.

As discussed in the "Goals for Referral #s 2K19":
We are not sure if we will become an Affiliate for WA or necessarily “promote it” until greater success is met through the trainings and development of website(s); if we are able to have good/great success, I could see us promoting WA morally and as an affiliate.. We shall see.. So until there is no specific goal in mind for this; if/once a better success rate is accomplished, we can re-visit this task and goal agenda.
If we do so decide to become Affiliates for WA, or even if not, attending the Vegas training seminars and networking congregation of WA members would be a great opportunity in any regard.
All in all, it would be nice to converse and brainstorm with like-minded people.

Team building retreats can be fantastic, but a city like Vegas is like Starbucks coffee, you get the lowest/cheapest grade of coffee beans and throw a lot of bling in it so it doesn't taste as like an ash tray. When WA gets a little more creative in these excursions, maybe I would be interested in going.

I have the opportunity to add a link to WA in my website development, while not likely for a while to get a visitor to select a link, I do not want to miss even one. Where do I get the information about link content that will associate me as the referring affiliate? Thank you to anyone that can help me with my question.

Tim

P.S. Even if miraculously I could get 300 referrals for the Los Vegas convention, I could not join the Celebration/Event as I cannot travel, not even much outside my home.

Hi Kyle!
Thanks for the update! Congrats on the conference. Nice to see successful WA members enjoying the time together. I guess it is a lot of fun "down there" and held discussions about WA and the online business!

Hopefully, one day I will be present as well!

Best regards,
Igor

Hi Kyle!

Yes, that would be lovely! The thing is that I am still building up my website and creating articles and ebooks which I didn't publish or launched yet, because of my other duties.

I actually prepared one book about Astrology (approx. 70-80 pages), one ebook about affiliate marketing and I wanted to prepare the third one about SEO! But, maybe I will skip that one. Hmmm, maybe not! Will see!

Also, I have another 10 articles prepared which I didn't publish yet. So, I am active, but it goes slowly.

Also, my marketing effort is practically zero, better said to low. I was promoting only on Google+ so far. Received here and there some traffic, but not enough. I really don't have time to promote on a daily and heavily basis on social media sites. my goal is to get finally at least one page on top 10 on Google. Achieved top 1 and 2 with some articles in Bing and Yahoo. So, any help in that direction would be great!

What I could realize until now by being constantly a member of WA and by starting writing articles, and learning stuff on a daily basis, that everything became more natural and easier for me. It is really easy and fun to create content and to promote online.

Therefore I am thankful for your encouragement and showing me practically the way how easy and simple is to start creating content and getting knowledge about online marketing.

This is why I decided to stay the WA member (also because of all it has to offer) for years to come, even if I don't make any money with it, what is not my ultimate goal, of course! I hope I will be able to maintain my Premium membership for time to come. In fact, WA became my "online home" let's say that way. Even if I am not present on a daily basis, it is so.

But, it would be even much better to start making money some money for WA and for my family and myself.

because of the fact that I am a "big fan" of SE marketing, I am certain that it will take time to achieve at least a top 10 on the first Page of Google, but I am prepared and ready for that.

I am also aware that English native speaking people have more chances and are more predisposed and have a better "starting position" than non-native English speaking people, but I do really enjoy writing and online marketing was always one of my biggest passions, for years already.

Beside one successful episode a few years ago when "we" (my self and some friends) could build a group of 2000 members within a pretty short of time (mainly by organizing webinars) the rest of the time was "thrown into the wind!"

Although I acquired decent knowledge about online marketing, throughout the years, which is now even much more reinforced with WA, I am doing everything on my own and this is not easy at all. And I am not doing it full time, but part-time.

So, in a nutshell, I am open for any help if possible. That would be awesome!

Open for your feedback and opinion!

Thanks a lot in advance,
Best regards,
Igor

A top quality event for top quality WA Achievers put on by top quality WA owners. It is this group that fostered much of WA's membership growth in 2018.

I'm anxiously looking forward to the new platform upgrades. It is this continuous improvement mind set of K&C that is fundamental to the continued growth of WA.

I've been to events like this in my past, and have always experienced a settling period to get back to the grounded state that produces continued personal growth and achievement.

I was wondering how long it takes the attendees to become grounded when they return home?
Reply
Kyle Premium
I think for the most part, we are grounded right away. It took me a day or two to get back in the swing of things and digest everything that was discussed and the path moving forward.

Something that is great about the Vegas event is that it forces us to realize everything that we actually have going on behind the scenes, sometimes we forget because we are working heads down and don't sit back and look back the big picture.

Exciting times ahead!

Thank you for the personal reply Kyle. It still amazes me how hands on you are. WA has become a sizeable organization with many moving parts. Managing our growth has to be challenging.

Any way I'm sure it's much appreciated by the community.

Looked like alot of fun but you left out the Casino's you guys hit while you there. I know I would have to go try my luck if make it that far.

I have been having time getting my domain set up cause I only smart phone. It's too hard so I ordered a laptop and should have it by Feb.12th. I still have to go through boot camp and I need it bad. So you probably wont see me until i get my laptop. And this to everybody in the community. Thank you for all your help so far and God bless you all.

They don't like you taking pictures of the tables, or I would have gotten a few. To be honest I was so busy I didn't play much this year, but a bunch of the guys played craps, blackjack. I had one late night with a few of the guys playing BlackJack, had some good luck and some bad.

You are going to be happy you order your laptop, that is a game changer in my opinion and is going to lead to all sorts of success for you in the year ahead. :)

The Super Affiliate Las Vegas experience sounds amazing as always and I am definitely working hard towards it!

I do indeed hope that many new interesting features are going to be added and especially certain things are going to be improved in the coming time.

To name a few:
- sitecomments (mostly because it's now hard to get credits to buy them)
- sitecontent (h4,h5?)
- wa blog editor (sitecontent editor?)
- jaaxy (improvements that make it more interesting in a market of seo tools)

sitecomments (mostly because it's now hard to get credits to buy them)

Yes, have updates coming to SiteComments. We altered the needle from not enough commenters, to too many. We will sway this back so it is more levelled out and there are more revenue opportunities there.

- sitecontent (h4,h5?)

We have bigger updates than that coming to SiteContent.

- wa blog editor (sitecontent editor?)

The blog editor was updated to reflect SiteContent tools/features, but yes, you should be export at the very least to a "WA blog post". I agree and this is a major request from me as well.

- jaaxy (improvements that make it more interesting in a market of seo tools)

Yes, we have some really awesome and breakthrough updates coming to Jaaxy.

This on top of a lot of new platforms that we have been working on for some time, technology improvements to our hosting platforms, and new features and offerings here within WA for more advanced users.

I am definitely excited about the oncoming year leading to 2020!

We have so many amazing things waiting for us that I can't even imagine how much further many of us may be even in a year from now.

Make no excuses and accept failure to progress as an opportunity for growth and advancement!

Imagine that some of us have all the time in the world to do as much as we can and want, if we want?

I know I do, but personal obligations and balancing of social interaction in the real world can almost cripple our desire but I say screw it!

Who cares if we can't even manage to complete a single post in a week?

If anything, Kyle?

You are right about perfectionism kills creativity thus creating the desire to kill productivity.

What's that, procrastination?

It once nearly took me a whole month writing one article that is over a 5,000 word count!

Yet I'm still pressing forward no matter how much dedication it takes to get the break I know I will get as I continue to further progress in my training.

Anyway good luck to all our Wealthy Affiliate family members, let this be our year of growth and preparation!

With Gratitude,
Jose

That is the problem with many, they try to perfect. Others just "do" and those are the ones that I typically see that make it, and that are much more skilled because they quickly find their way to making more mistakes (and learning more).

You wrote a 1,000 word post here, you write in a way that is engaging and inspiring, now just apply this exact same thing to your business and write about various topics. As for social activity, leverage that for your business.

Don't waste time there, rather dedicate this time to creating and growing your business online. :)

Thank you so much for your advice, I will make sure to screw up more often, j.k!

But in all seriousness, I know you aren't lying because I had watched inspiring videos that had offered advice from the most successful as well as inspiring, indeed it suggested that failure should be seen as lesson opportunity.

Short and sweet,

Got to implement it no matter how many flaws I may see!

I say well come back from Las Vegas to Kyle, Carson and all other team members and Well done during your stay there.

I took COURAGE after I read from your post Las Vegas' Blog especially the portion that reads and I quote "Expect big things out of us, we will not disappoint!" on quote.

For the past few months that I've been prevledged to be here in WA community though from a far off yet I have found you to be a man of integrity who I believe will not let that WORD of yours to become void!

Here are the three things I am eagerly EXPECTING to smile on my business here in WA platform as my own off shoot blessings from Las Vegas:

1. A quick "know hows" on how to begin to be on top of the tech challenges in my on line business so as to begin to see some dollars FLYING in from now on especially as I've NOT been focusing much on the money side EVEN THOUGH am now 4+ months here in WA!

2. A quick answer to the hurdles I Now face with Bing closing my campaign account after less than a week of opening it with them which had tied my hands as it was aimed at frustrating me since then till now.

3. Any thing that will fasilitate my being one of those to be invited to go with you guys to Las Vegas any time soonest from now!

Congratulations to you and your team for successful hosting the Las Vegas event!

Thanks, Kyle and Carson! You guys ROCK!

I should have started with Bootcamp but it's okay having finished the other course and doing Bootcamp shows me what I should have done better.

I like the way my new site is coming up simple but being indexed more often by Google and today someone found one of my posts and commented super excited.

Thanks and hope to make it one day to Las Vagas.

All the best.

It certainly is OK, you start with what you want to start with. You can head in any direction that you want with your business, that is the beautiful part about the internet. Now that you have a bit more experience, the bootcamp route might make a lot more sense.

I enjoyed reading this report. It sounded like an incredible experience.

When I became a Premium Member I was advised to tackle either the Online Entrepreneur Certification OR the Affiliate Bootcamp. But not both at the same time. Is this advice still appropriate?

My goal is to build my Network Marketing business using WA to find prospects. And I definitely want to promote WA to the prospects I find. My question is when is the right time to begin the Bootcamp training so that I am equipped to market WA to my prospects?

Thanks!

Edwin,
I have completed the OEC training and am close to finishing the Bootcamp Training -
As a new member the easiest way is to start with the OEC and finish it before attempting the Bootcamp - but if you already have
experience then doing the Bootcamp is acceptable when you are ready ::))
Hope this answers your question,
Susan
Reply
EdwinBernard Premium
Thanks for the good advice. Since online marketing is new to me I shall complete the OEC before tackling Bootcamp. I think that I can learn a lot from Bootcamp too.
Reply
Marley2016 Premium
Edwin,
You will but with the experience you gain with the OEC it will be
easier to handle and make more sense to you - seriously it did
for me being new and I was able to accomplish it faster with the
knowledge I gained in the OEC until I got up to the video part -
I am stuck there right now because I have one to finish off the
Level so I can move one - stage fright camera fright whatever
but I will be forcing myself to do it soon I did two so far and one
to go ::))

Best wishes and if you ever have any questions drop me a
PM we are here to help each other,
