Beer With Kyle: Structured Content and AI, A Sneak Peek

Hey Everyone,

Today I am getting into something game-changing for content creators: structured content with AI integration. I have alluded to this in past videos, and I want to give you a bit of an update on the progress of this platform.

Before we get into it, I want to share a little about this week’s beer, it’s a fun one tied to Friday the 13th!

This Week’s Beer: Muy Hoppy IPA

This week’s selection is Moy Hoppy IPA from Swan’s Brewery, a local favorite here in Victoria, BC. It’s a solid West Coast-style IPA with a hoppy bite and a 6.4% ABV. While it’s not my favorite IPA, it’s definitely enjoyable, and if you’re a fan of hoppier brews, it’s worth trying.

Now, let’s talk about the exciting updates coming to Wealthy Affiliate’s AI-powered content tools.

1. The Evolution of Content Creation

Content remains the backbone of any successful online business, and it’s not going anywhere. Whether it’s for blogs, sales pages, or email campaigns, high-quality content is critical. However, creating content that’s polished, structured, and ready to publish can be time-consuming.

That’s where structured content creation with AI comes in. Our goal is to streamline the process, giving you more control over your content while saving you valuable time.

2. Introducing Templates for Structured Content

One of the key features we’re rolling out is the ability to use templates for different types of content. Imagine having a predefined structure for your blog posts, reviews, or recipes that you can customize and generate with AI.

Here’s a quick look at how it works:

  • Select a Template: Choose from pre-made templates like long-form reviews, recipes, or email campaigns.
  • AI-Generated Content: The AI will create content based on the template’s structure, including headings, sections, and even AI-generated imagery.
  • Customizable Options: Adjust affiliate links, placeholders, and stylistic elements to make the content uniquely yours.

3. Example: Crafting a Product Review

Let’s say you’re creating a Wealthy Affiliate review. With the new platform, you can select a review template, which includes placeholders for headings, imagery, and sections like pros and cons, pricing, and features.

Here’s what the process looks like:

  • Imagery Integration: AI-generated images or screenshots can be embedded directly into the article.
  • Content Structure: Headings and sections are preformatted, ensuring a clean and organized layout.
  • Efficiency: The review is generated in minutes, allowing you to focus on fine-tuning and personalizing the content.

4. What’s Next: Bulk Content and Advanced Features

We’re also working on features like:

  • Bulk Content Creation: Generate multiple articles or recipes in one go.
  • Enhanced Design Options: Customize stylistic elements like bulleted lists and callouts.
  • Affiliate Integration: Seamlessly add affiliate links to specific products or services.

Our goal is to empower you to create content for every part of your business, from YouTube outlines to sales pages to SEO content, and everything in between.

Our Release Timeline...

We’re in the final stages of polishing this new platform, and we’re targeting a release within the next few weeks or early January. While the current design may evolve, the core functionality is nearly ready, and we’re excited to get it into your hands.

As we finalize the platform, your input is invaluable. Here’s how you can help:

  • Templates You Need: What types of templates would you like to see?
  • Default Options: What pre-built templates would be most useful for your business?

Drop your thoughts in the comments below, I look forward to hearing your feedback.

Great minds think alike..I just finished off a post about content AI tools etc for my website..
lol..😝
Or as my dad used to say… idiots seldom differ.. lol
He was a character.. hoho

Haven’t posted it yet so might see if I can use some of these ideas.
With source accreditation… and links to WA.. yahoo
Steve

Awesome Steve, this is great timing then! We have busy working hard behind the scenes on this project, and many other exciting projects. 2025 is going to be a busy one, and Q1 is going to come with a great deal of updates

Automatic image integration is going to be a big help for sure. Been waiting anxiously for this one. I also like the feature of choosing the form lengths. This will help narrow down a proper word count for a specific article idea. Ex. I don’t need a 3000 word article on “how to hold a guitar pick.” lol

I like the idea of review templates where I can rinse and repeat just by swapping out info. I haven’t done any review posts yet but am ready to start.

Thank you for consistently updating the platform to keep up with ever-changing online landscape.

Yeah, for sure. It is going to focus on content less than 2,000 words, but you are going to be able to create shorter form content as well. On the SEO side of things, Google isn't necessarily after 5,000 word articles for every query, they are after content that provides the response.

And there are different types of content as well, reviews, listicles, etc...that you will be able to leverage this for. Lots of updates coming, Q1 is going to be very busy!

So working with local websites have a certain design and feel different then your AM site content.

Could there be a specific template design geared toward local service types of businesses like NAP, business hours, location, map, google categories and reviews, customer review quotes… anything and everything thing that would help a local, businesses, home page website valuable for SEO. Any of the content that could help coincide with all the citations the business has on the internet and that would be best suited for mobile viewing.
Would something like this be possible Kyle?

And this will be something you would be able to build as a template, and then recreate within new articles. We are going to provide a solid baseline of pre-built articles, and then beyond those you will be able to modify them or create your own unique ones. That is the power and the flexibility of the platform. ;)

got it

Hi Kyle
WA continutes to innovate. This is great.

I have a comment to add:
In my experience / opinion, the "best" content includes personal observations.

A recipe might not be the best example I guess since how can anyone improve on "the best" recipe!

However, in general, do you think the personal contribution is emphasised enough?

Posts need to be unique to compete. I know you have the function to "Add content details (optional)" which is a great place to add personal stuff... but most people who express themselves at all seem to add additional points after the AI content is created, rather than thinking about what they want to say beforehand. This rarely leads to unique content.
;-)
Richard

You can add personal contributions directly within the "optional content" area, which is included with every article and it will incorporate that. And if you want to include a "personal observation" tone, you could recommend that as well.

And all AI articles are 100% unique out to the box, there is no plagiarism. So that shouldn't be worry, but you should still be polishing all AI content. :)

I wasn't suggesting that there's plagiarism.
Lack of plagiarism makes words unique but not necessarily the meaning.
I know "personal observations" can be added.
My question was "do you think the personal contribution is emphasised enough?" I mean in the training.
;-)

This is very exciting, Kyle.

I have found the existing AI writer to produce quite wordy articles that need a lot of editing, which, of course, is fine. It has speeded up content creation hugely and helped me build a foundation of articles on my new website.

I am particularly looking forward to creating interesting, informative reviews with this.

It will allow for a style and consistency of review layout which I think will be important as we advance. The visitors will then be able to read through reviews without being confronted with a different style/layout every time.

I think this is important because those who like the style will be more tempted to keep returning, which of course is a good thing.

Anyway, eagerly awaiting this development.

Cheers,

Richard

Yeah, that is it. On your website you ideally want consistency across your reviews, versus a different style every time. This way you can easily compare "top 5" products as well, and you could even create templates for that.

We are looking forward to getting this out there with the initial release, and we feel that it will evolve quickly based on the feedback from the community. Ultimately we want to put a lot of the content design controls into your hands!

Thanks for your feedback here Richard! ;)

Good morning Kyle,

Thank you for another blog post. It's interesting to see how Wealthy Affiliate is continually moving forward with the content creator, etc.

I'm going to go against the grain with this comment. I'm just kind of thinking ahead and I may well be wrong! I've been wrong before!

The problem with AI content is that it really does lack human uniqueness. Yes, I know we can change the content and make it our own, but the truth is, most people don't. If they do change it, there are still lots of AI-isms within the content.

Traditionally, when we write something, it comes from our very own unique experience, this is almost just like spinning articles which will just flood the Internet with rubbish content.

My feeling is that, long-term, making money from websites will become increasingly difficult due to the amount of content being produced, even if it is AI trash.

When I'm looking for information online, as I've said before, I want it to be genuine and someone's real-life experience. The problem is that many people do not cross-reference the information they are reading or listening to; they just believe it!

I think, or I hope long-term, that this AI-generated content will backfire!

Once again, Kyle, these are just my own thoughts, I and not going against the platform, it's just how I see it. And remember, I have been wrong before!

Have a great weekend and thank you for another "beer with Kyle", which I always enjoy.

Roy

Hi Roy

I agree with Kyle that this technology is here to stay and will only increase in scale for written content and video.

I think it's only a matter of time before companies like OpenAI will create a GPT platform that "self-generates" templated content based on pre-established ontologies for various informational categories and niches, all without human intervention.

"AI-isms" are becoming more and more accepted by the general public, who are primarily interested in information that is targeted to concisely address their specific query. It's interesting that I have been using "AI-isms" in my writing many years before AI was available.

When I was evaluating "AI detectors" last year, I had them review articles I had written and published from the 1980s and 90s. They virtually all came back as "80 to 90% AI-generated content!" Some of them were accepted for publication by well-respected biomedical engineering journals in the field of artificial internal organs. You might think I used AI to write large sections of some of those publications, when it was just my writing style.

My wife watched a video (on VHS tape - Lol!) that was made in 1988 where I gave the keynote address and a presentation in Atlanta, Georgia, for a symposium on the collection and re-infusion of autologous blood for orthopedic surgical procedures, peri- and postoperatively.

After watching the video, which was over an hour long, her main comment was, "You speak like a robot." Lol 😆

I will be watching the AI evolution, or should I say "revolution," with keen interest!

Just my opinion on the subject, as always. 😎

Rock the Weekend! 🤘🥳
Frank 🎸

100% Human-written content.

Hello Frank,

Thank you for your input; it's always good to hear other people's experiences, especially when I know they have good knowledge of the subject.

Yes, I agree that this technology is here to stay, but I just think we need to use it very wisely.

Although it's kind of nice to be able to create content quickly, and maybe platforms will be able to generate templated content, I have concerns about the accuracy, as content can become watered down or have inaccuracies.

It's interesting about the AI detectors, Frank, I'm not really sure how accurate these detectors are, as from what I understand, they are not accurate. I can imagine maybe with medical terminology, it may be more suited to AI and not be quite so noticeable as I'm guessing it may be more in note form type of content.

This is the part that concerns me, Frank; I believe that we were all created individuals and I really love people's individual character and how everyone is different. We don't want to be like robots! However, I'm sure in the medical field, you have to be very precise, so it's probably a bit different from other industries I guess. Maybe more robotic, as your wife suggests!

I'm very open to other people's opinions, Frank. I always like to hear each side of the story, so hopefully, we can see the whole picture.

Enjoy your Saturday and keep on rocking.

Roy

Hi Roy

I'm guessing that AI content accuracy will be less and less of a problem as the technology continues to evolve.

As you say, people's "individuality" could become more and more obscure in their written content, which is why face-to-face interactions will continue to be a critical component of human socialization.

Luckily, there are other ways to uniquely express ourselves, like creating music and art without using computers. 😎

Rock On! 🤘
Frank 🎸

Well that is up to people, what they want to do with it. People can also copy and paste content from other sites if they are too lazy to create their own content. It is not what we teach though, and it is not what works.

You use AI to help you with the bulk of your activities, in an assisted manner. The human touch is added afterwards, it is polished, and it is YOU that publish the content when you are happy with it.

AI is part of every aspect of our lives, and it isn't going anywhere. Every email that you touch eventually will in some way have AI influence within it, every social media post, every piece of web content, and every video.

But content is only interesting, if it is interesting. It is only helpful, if it is helpful. Irrespective as to how or where it was created, there is a lot of really terrible "human" created content out there as well. So there is also that.

SEO is one facet of building a business online, and only one source of traffic. It certainly isn't the only focus here, and it certainly won't be the core focus moving forward either.

There are billions of clicks, content is always going to be part of every business, and there are going to be tools that everyone uses to speed up components of content creation moving forward. Those that are using the tools properly, and for what they are worth, are those that will be the most efficient, and thrive at the highest rate.

You are definitely not going against the grain, people that use AI properly will thrive, those that are lazy and don't, will not. Same as before.

This is really great news, Kyle.

I'm really impressed with the direction Wealthy Affiliate is taking, and yes, it will greatly improve our efficiency in creating useful, high-ranking, and engaging content.

If possible, I'd like to have at least two (2) default templates:

1) Could you please create default review templates for luxury watch brands and timepieces, such as Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, etc., where I can gain access to a prebuilt template with technical and mechanical details on brands and individual timepieces? And maybe even images of specific luxury watch models?

2) Product A vs Product B: If possible, I'd like to have access to a default template where I can compare brand to brand, and timepiece to timepiece.

Thanks for the great video, and all this beer drinking makes me thirsty for beer myself.

Have a great weekend.
Cheers!
Alexander

Excellent ideas, I like them. The beauty of this platform is that our goal is to put content design and creation in your hands for the templates, and then the ability to reproduce those styles of templates.

So if we don't provide the exact templates for you on release, this is something that you are going to be able to do. :)

You have a wonderful weekend as well!

Wow this is all great news :) The recipe template will be huge for me and great timing as I've been struggling with how to structure them on my site! Some others I would like to see:

- A beginner's guide to
- The Top 2/3/5/10 of
- 5/10 ways to
- Product v product, which to choose

The less I need to be in the back office of Wordpress to change little things, and the less I need to download AI images of cows directly onto my computer the better LOL.

Thanks for your guys' hard work on the new features I am looking forward to them!

Awesome, that is great to hear. And I like the ideas that you have shared here, we definitely will be considering having several of these in place on release. ;)

Love the direction this is going!
Top 3/5/10 Products
Product A review; but WA is the way to go and here's why
Product A vs Product B
Google/Facebook/Bing Ad copy
I've seen someone create a dialogue between a man and woman to be used as a podcast and the content and even the voices were AI and they actually sounded natural. You wouldn't have known otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestions Les, all great ideas and these are ones that we are going to consider integrating. If we don't have everything you want, the beauty of this platform is that you will be able to create your own templates, and design them in any way that you like for your own specific purposes.

And I think you are referring to NotebookLM with the podcasts, you can pass it things like a blog post about a particular topic, and it can easily create a pod cast on that topic. It is pretty incredible.

Hey Kyle,

This is definitely moving in the right direction. The kinds of templates I would like to see include:
- product roundup
- product review
- information listicle
- how to step by step
- How to use something (a listicle of use cases)
- what is xyz

Thanks for this!

Michael

Love to see those templates as well!

Awesome Michale, thanks for sharing your list. here. I have listicles, reviews, step-by-step, how to's already in my templates. Can add any others, and you will be able to even take mine, and edit them in any way that you like. ;)

Hi Kyle it is very interesting and my suggestions might be for templates Ebook publications and Information Products which could we could publish.

I do have some reservations only because artificial Intelligent could be manipulated in the wrong hands in a negative way. For example Facts and Figures and even Traffic.

If there are protections then it will be great.
