Affiliate Bootcamp 2.0, It's Coming!
I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop as per some updates that are going to be taking place on the Affiliate Bootcamp side of things. In fact, you have a lot to look forward to!
Wealthy Affiliate launched the first iteration of Affiliate Bootcamp back in 2013. It has been a very popular training platform and although very limited number of people use it compared to the number of total members here at WA, it has been a huge success for those taking part in this training.
Wealthy Affiliate continues to evolve though. The community here evolves. The Internet evolves. The current Affiliate Bootcamp and the practices and procedures are still very much relevant, but there are some things that need to be updated. In particular the many new interfaces and platforms within WA that have changed or been added since the initial roll out of bootcamp.
Before I announce launch dates, I want you to know that if you are currently going through Affiliate Bootcamp, keep going through it. It is entirely relevant and will lead you to the creation of a business within the "internet marketing" space.
I also am going to be outlining the changes that are going to be taking place and the underlying reasons as to why.
Reason #1: Brand New Platforms, More Coming in Year Ahead.
As we have discussed in past posts, we have a lot on the go behind the scenes. Some of these projects have already come to fruition in early 2017, but we have many more exciting rollouts that are going to be taking place in the year ahead.
These projects are significant platforms and systems here at WA that we will want to integrate into the training and that you are going to be able to leverage to build your business with more efficiency. Because of this, new training has to come and we are constantly coming out with new training and updating existing training, a full "refresh" is in order.
Reason #2: New Interfaces, New Design.
There are many moving parts when it comes to training, we are contending with constant updates taking place here at Wealthy Affiliate, new designs and interfaces...right down to the way our training and menu structuring itself works.
We are also constantly dealing with updates taking place in terms of Wordpress design, plugin designs, sites coming into existences and going out of existence (sun setting), Google and other search engines making UI changes...it can be a bit of a nightmare managing for this.
Because of this, some of the training needs to be updated to represent these more recent interface and design changes.
Reason #3: MANY New Ways to Market WA.
2014-2016 have been very busy years for us at Wealthy Affiliate in terms of platform improvements, evolution and innovation and 2017 will be a lot more of the same.
There have never been more angles in which you can promote Wealthy Affiliate, in fact there are 100's of directions that you can go building out a full time business within this space, primarily through the promotion of WA.
We will be covering these within Bootcamp 2.0.
Reason #4: Revelation of MILLIONS of New Keywords.
As WA evolves, so do the abundance of opportunities you have as an affiliate to market WA. There are literally 100's of different marketing angles that are taking shape as time goes on.
Once just a "keyword list" site, Wealthy Affiliate has become an all-inclusive platform that you can leverage to create, grow, and manage a business online. It is a platform used by a wide range of businesses, for a variety of reasons and you can leverage all of these angles independently.
For example...
- People looking for a website builder...or hosting, or wordpress help...or how to build content...or plugins/theme support... can ALL benefit from WA.
- People looking to become a local marketer or looking for help with local marketing, boom WA is the only place you need to be.
- People looking for domains. WhoIS privacy. Free SSL. Etc.

I could go on and on here, but as our new platforms are rolled out and as we establish our technology as the best of the best across many verticals, you can promote WA with absolute confidence in these spaces and it will give you entire new industries and niches to operate within, with your SAME bootcamp website (many people have actually started to build out several sites targeting different aspects of this business).
The keywords are endless.
There are millions of low competition keywords out there. You just have to look in front of your nose and realize everything that is offered to folks here at WA, then build outwards from there with these campaigns. This is going to be discussed in detail within the new iteration of Bootcamp.
Reason #5: More Super Affiliates Than Ever.
Our goal is to create more successful affiliates, across ALL industries with Wealthy Affiliate. Our goal with Bootcamp is in parallel with this, hoping to help many newcomers achieve Vegas status in 2017. I have a strong intuition that this is going to be our biggest group in Las Vegas this year, and our most motivated group.
As time goes on, Wealthy Affiliate gets easier to promote. Not only have we kept the price point the same at WA for the past 12 years (making it BY FAR the most cost-efficient platform in the industry), we continue to invest millions annually into the platform, the technology, and ultimately into YOU to make your life as a marketer and online business owner a much more seamless and efficient one.
With time, WA conversions continue to grow as a result of our focus on the quality of our service (and of course all of you awesome folks within the community). With time, more and more people are sticking around for much longer. With time, more people are succeeding and doing so at a much higher rate. So when is the Bootcamp coming? I
It doesn't make sense to roll everything out all at once, rather it is going to be a tiered roll out and part of the reason for this is that we have several significant launches coming this year that are going to be tied directly into the new training.
Here are the slated release dates for the new phases of Affiliate Bootcamp 2.0.
- June 7th , Phase 1 Launched (Access it here)
- June 30th, Phase 2
- July 30th, Phase 3
- August 15th, Phase 4
- August 30th, Phase 5
- September 15th, Phase 6
- October 15th, Phase 7
- October 30th, Phase 8 (Brand New Phase)
You may notice there is an additional phase coming to the Bootcamp. This is going to continue to extend and there are an additional 2-3 phases slated in 2017.
In addition to this, there are going to be new phases rolled out within the Online Entrepreneur Certification (along with a constant refresh to the training) which will rolled out along side Bootcamp.

The world is evolving fast, many of the principles have remained very much the same though since I started back in 2002. What you will find is that the way you implement things will change, but the results will be very much similar.
I am going to focus on implementation efficiency of many different marketing strategies as well as uncover an abundance of new opportunities and I am going to be brushing over new platforms and how to use them with your business.

It IS Getting Easier To Promote Wealthy Affiliate
I have mentioned this in other comments elsewhere, but I have to add here too that truly it is getting easier to recommend WA...
As people gain experience with online marketing, learn how to use the many platforms that can aid promotions or products and services, and gain a following and authority within their niche, it just gets easier and easier...
My Experiences Promoting Wealthy Affiliate
Using myself as an example, I have not pushed hard for WA (not nearly as much as I am building other online business segments), but I sure can with what is offered as a WA member, it is a no-brainer in my mind...
You can be sure that the work I have put in for online business now will be leveraged to make also a stronger push for accessing new WA members, and getting them to try the site out...
There are misconceptions out there about Wealthy Affiliate within the IM niche, and much of this is likely due to the way WA is killing the competition.
I can now speak as an insider, a member that has been here awhile, and as someone that has seen the value Wealthy Affiliate provides over other programs...
The Upcoming Bootcamp Training Update

As you say, this platform can serve as a base for starting many other segments of online marketing and sales...
Whether members want to offer training online, do drop shipping, enter the e-commerce world, do local marketing, etc. this site will help them...
Personally, I like the idea of having my own product or service to sell to others and have been pushing hard in this direction. There is a lot of work involved, as you know, but the end game justifies the investment....
What To Include In The Updated Bootcamp Training...
In regards to requests as for what to include in the revised Bootcamp training, not knowing what all is planned, I would hope that social marketing is a big part of the package...
The marketing tools we have using Facebook, Instagram, etc. are mind-blowing compared to even when I started a couple of years ago, and they keep getting better...
Facebook today just rolled out a "story" option which is remarkably like guess which platform - Snapchat (the company they tried to buy a couple of years ago)!
They also are making the Facebook Live feature more and more complete, and this can be used in the same way that Webinars were used yesterday...
I could go on and on, but I think you get the point...
Bottom Line...
This place is more relevant today than ever, and I believe it is an investment that every marketer needs to make in themselves and their online business...
The Future...
Looking ahead, I can see that what this platform offers is needed more than ever in other market segments...I am actively working to build something similar, although it will be a more focused platform...
Just as with WA however, much of what is offered on this upcoming platform will easily be applied to other market segments...
It will be interesting to see how this develops over the next 5 years...Yes, I am excited!

Well said Dave, the thing we need to do within the training though is to cover new topics and platforms, but we also want to shy away from things that don't have the time vs value as other things.
Instagram and Facebook tend to be a few of those items, although they can be critical components to scaling a business if done right, most people don't do it right and most people waste an incredible amount of time on them because they are set-up to be time sucks. You get in there, next thing you know you are sifting through images and videos for hours. lol
All this is going to be taken into consideration with Bootcamp 2.0 and my intention is to keep the training within Bootcamp not only on the bleeding edge of new technologies, but do so with some refrain of the shiny objects out there that won't pay dividends. Rather ease into these sorts of things.
With the experience you have I have no doubt you and Carson will lead us in the right direction! This includes more than the Bootcamp 2.0!
I totally agree on the distracting nature of the social media...Oh how I know hehe...
FYI, this new platform we are in the middle of standing up is going to highlight what is offered here and the advantages to working on both...There will be a link! : )
The Platform Focus? E-Commerce...
The e-commerce segment of online marketing training is lacking a good platform like Wealthy Affiliate...We are creating one now but it is focused on one particular market niche with complementary niches...
Obviously, it will not be as comprehensive as what is found here (hence our recommendation to become a Wealthy Affiliate member)...
It will focus sharply on the exact steps to success using our platform, theme, marketing tactics, and services...
Over time, it could be adapted to a more general site for e-commerce as Wealthy Affiliate is for affiliate marketing...
The latter point is a way down the road, but you have set the standard to achieve hehe!

As you know this is something completely new to me, but I am so excited about what I have just read, although at present, I don't understand what it's all about. But the interesting thing is, I am not on my own. So many of the affiliates are feeling the same excitement. So all I can say is; congratulations to you and your team. Well done for the work you are doing behind the scenes. I am loving it here, but I have a long long way to go.

You will get the hang of it. The Affiliate Bootcamp is the training set out for the promotion of WA across a breadth of different niches online and walks people through their ability to become an authority within the space.
I am currently in Course 4 of Affiliate Bootcamp and I must say it has been fantastic and will just continue to go through it. So exciting to see it is being updated. My goodness, I will have to revisit !!

I would just like to know. Since I am currently working through the Affiliate Bootcamp and will continue to push ahead. Will you be providing a summary or of the list of items, which has undergone major change?
It would be nice to return to the lessons already completed to review only the changes instead of the complete course.
Absolutely, continue moving forward with the existing bootcamp. It is absolutely still relevant and it is recommended, but this is just going to be another iteration, not completely new information, but a nice refresh and is going to prepare folks for the 2018/2019 years ahead.
I keep hearing about vegas, which sounds awesome but in a nutshell a meeting between your top sales men and women. Essentially zero or no equivalent for those not involved nor interested in promoting WA or the MMO niche.
An awesome upgrade would be an annual WA meet up for established and successful webpreneurs in other areas which could include drop shippers, bloggers/affiliate marketers of all industries and those creating and selling their own products to those selling their own skill set as SEO experts from what they have learned here.
I'm not knocking WA or Vegas meet up but WA is far more than getting involved in the MMO niche and promoting WA. It is an all-encompassing fully fledged atteller for digipreneurs/webpreneurs of all sorts, a bonafide hangout and social network for online business owners.
Pretty sure people would even pay to attend an annual conference and learn live and direct with experts such as Yourself, Jay, Carson and other very well to do members such as Vitaliy, veronica, Nathaneil and the many others who have achieved great success using WA methodology in a variety of niches.
Definitely not off the table, but also not on the table in the immediately future.
Trust me, this is something that we have considered, but we are also not huge fans of the concert circuit so this would likely be rolled out in a unique and very careful manner.
I can appreciate where you are coming from in terms of a more WA based meet-up versus just those that are actively promoting us and I think that is definitely a fair suggestion Derek. As always, thanks for your feedback...a variation of this is something that you definitely might see in the future!
Thank you for the information that Wealthy Affiliate Management is doing something beyond the reach of its affiliates. The improvement of technical side lies in you which everybody can benefit from.
Waiting for the launching and coming of those things emboldens our sagacity to work with Wealthy Affiliate.
The more inspiration this brings to everyone from a company that thinks and plans for its affiliates to be competitive with the ever evolving internet technology.
We have a lot coming on all fronts, training is just one of these aspects, but tools and technology that make your life easier, quicker and easier ways to get various types of support and help, and entirely new interface designs to make WA more usable (and definitely more mobile friendly).
So we are definitely going to be pushing forward on all fronts in the year ahead.

I am extremely excited about this new rollout and update to the Affiliate Bootcamp. I just recently went back through the entire Bootcamp again (as a refresher and to jump start my business), so this comes at the perfect timing.
