Many folks are confused about the term “niche” and they read into it too much. Because of this, I want to simplify the term niche.

A niche is simply a GROUP of PEOPLE

These people are interested in something, but something specific. The key when choosing this group of people is to be very specific because if you are are too broad, then it is going to be difficult to talk to your audience.

It is like someone walking into a supermarket looking for advice on “how to improve their metabolism”. It is not going to happen and you are not likely to trust the source of the information. Definitely not like the experience you would get if you walked into a store that specialized in metabolism.

Within the online world there are TWO BILLION people. That is the biggest marketplace in the world by a long shot so you want to really become an expert within the very specific category you choose.

So, when you sit down and are thinking of what your niche is, think not of this imaginary and confusing word “niche”, think instead of a group of people.

But you don’t want this group to be too broad. That is the worst thing you can do when starting out. I want to give you some examples of a niche that is too broad and then I want to give you some examples of groups of people that are much more "niche" and specific.

A group of people interested in health. Not the best (TOO BROAD).

Health could be just about anything. I constantly see folks at WA trying to start off within the health niche. Well "health" isn't a niche, it's very broad. How do you target people within health? That is not an audience that you can effectively target, rather you need to dig down and get more specific.

A group of people looking to improve their metabolism. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking to do this.

A group of people over 50 years old looking to lose weight. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking to do this.

A group of people looking to fix their back problems. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking to do this.

A group of men that are looking for help for hair loss. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking to for this type of help.

A group of people that are looking for low carb diets. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for these.

See where I am going with this? People are not looking for health, they are looking for something much more specific. There are 10,000’s of niches within the broad "health" industry. Tens of thousands of groups looking to accomplish something, looking to buy something, looking for help solving a problem.

All you need to do is target one of these and you have yourself a niche and a very big group of people.

Let’s look at another example...

A group of people interested in babies. Not the best (TOO BROAD).

People interested in “babies” is going to be very difficult to target because it is far too broad. People don’t open Google and search for “babies” online, they search for things that are much more specific.

A group of people looking for organic baby products. That is a targeted niche (but still a little broad).

A group of people looking for organic cloth diapers. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking to for these.

A group of people looking for stimulation toys for infants. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking to do this. There are MILLIONS of people looking for these.

A group of people looking for learning apps for babies. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for these.

A group of people looking for jogging strollers. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for these.

A group of people looking for cribs and information about cribs. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for this.

A group of people looking for classic children's books. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for these.

A group of people looking for information about colic babies. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for help.

A group of people looking for information on how to treat babies that are sick. That is a targeted niche. There are MILLIONS of people looking for help on this.

See how I am narrowing things down to a much more specific group of people? Sure, these are targeted but they are still massive. Millions of people are looking for information, for help, and ultimately are spending billions of dollars online buying things throughout the course of a year and you are going to be able to capitalize on this with your website.

Massive opportunity resides just about everywhere you look within the online world because there are specific groups of people everywhere (also known as niches)

But What About the Niche Competition? Shouldn’t I Be Concerned?

No...No….and NO!

Within each of these more targeted groups of people, there are 1,000’s (sometimes millions) of low competition keywords you can target. What you are learning here at WA also gives you a huge competitive advantage over your competition and is going to help you capitalize on any niche.

And please do remember, there is a reason there are a million of every type of store in the world. There are a million hardware stores. There are a million baby toy shops. Millions of people are buying stuff in the smallest of categories.

To put this into perspective, there are 4 million babies born in the US alone each and every year. That means there are 4 million mom’s and dad’s online looking for information about their new babies, looking for help, looking to buy products or services...and this is where you step in with your niche website.

This could be for organic cloth baby diapers or for information on colic babies...or anything that targets a specific group of people.

I don’t want to blow your mind too much here, but there are 120 million babies born every year globally so the audience that is online and looking for stuff within this niche is much larger than the 4 million people in the US.

Crazy right?

Now, when you go to choose your niche, dig into it a bit and find a more specific group of people. Recognize that there are MILLIONS of people within every niche you can imagine and that is the beautiful part about this Internet “thing”. It is not going anywhere and as every year goes by, there is opportunity absolutely everywhere you look and it only continues to grow.

Now go out there and find your GROUP OF PEOPLE. If you want any help in regards to this or want to get feedback on your ideas for a niche, drop a comment below and we will be more than happy to help you out.

PS. If you still can’t come up with a niche after this and want one that is “chosen” for you already, go through the Affiliate Bootcamp. So I have several niche ideas that really appeal to me, but I'm struggling with making them just specific enough. For example I love the idea of a travel website to help single travelers plan their vacations, or maybe single travelers between ages 18-30? But my real struggle is I want to focus on art, but not sure what direction I want to go. Any thoughts or advice on this? Thank you!!

If you decide to stick with this, this first niche will be one of possibly several. Don't stress over it too much. I personally think travel or vacations for young singles would be a perfect niche to start with. If you think that's too broad, pick a country or region as part of that focus, perhaps.

Good luck!

At first I had the same confusing issue to decide as a life insurance agent in the US, thinking about healing, health, vitality, energy and security products, but now I am thinking to join the Affiliate Bootcamp and set up my niche for educating about WA because it will open doors for many interested to elevate their financial potential and consequently provide income to start with commissions and to fulfill traveling or all niche acquisitions down the road. We are products of our own thinking.

Perfect, thank you so much for your input! I've decided to start with travel/vacations for young singles under 30 in Europe. :) Crossing my fingers!!

Now there are theme specific European river cruises and I'm sure US as well. Some are specific to art and travel through Paris and multiple artsy places. The neat thing about river cruises is there is always something to see beyond just ocean and you only have to unpack once. They have lots of onshore excursions at the ports and they are able to dock right in the city not a big port on the ocean miles from town. That may be an idea for you to look into.

I have several ideas
A dyslexia
B. Phonetic awareness
C. The Queen of repurposing
Dyslexia may be quite broad but can be attacked from several levels I and my children deal with this daily
Phonetic awareness may be limited but I think there is a large enough addiance of preschool teachers to sustain it.
Repurposing anything is what I do daily so there you go

Here is what I think would make a good niche. I like technology, time management and productivity, and I would like to cater to adults and teenagers who struggle in these areas. One particular niche that does come to mind that I could probably focus on people with ADHD and learning disabilities who struggle in these areas. I was diagnosed as a teenager with ADHD, and my spouse has dyslexia, and I have learned a lot of tips and tricks that I could share with people. I could also teach people how to use technology in a way that actually helps them be more productive instead of being so distracted all the time with online gaming or Facebook. I could show them different types of apps and software to help them be more productive. I certainly know their family members or significant others would appreciate it! What are your thoughts?
Reply

I like that idea actually! I wasn't diagnosed with any of those but my grandson has and I would love to understand a better way to communicate management with him.

I would be interested in that one!
Reply
The best part is a lot of these apps and software have built in collaboration features so you can keep in touch with him and see what he is working on. You can track his progress and chat with him in real time. And thanks to the cloud you can have access from anywhere on any device, whether it's your smartphone, tablet or a computer. Technology is really amazing nowadays.

Im struggling to narrow my niche down. I love all things that are craft related and diy projects. I am a passionate crochet and knitter, this is how i spend most of my free time. I assume going with the Crochet/Knitting niche is best because I love it so much but Im stuck on which direction to take it in. So, I guess my question is which angle do I take with my crochet/Knitting Niche to narrow it down? Thoughts?

I have a couple of ideas:
- You could provide step by step tutorials for showing people how to make things, like how to copy certain designs that are popular in fashion right now.
- You could review/discuss certain types of brands of needles, hooks, yarns, and give your recommendations to people on the best equipment and materials to use.
- You could also help people find the best deals on purchasing quality materials, what they need to look for etc. You can also notify them when certain items go on sale, I have seen websites do this, especially when they recommend a specific product, like a pressure cooker, for example.
- You could show people what projects you are working on, like a daily blog into your life as a crafter.
- You could also sell some of the stuff you make on your website, or you could help other crafters sell their stuff online. This potentially could also be a good opportunity to promote WA to people as a resource for developing their webpage and their business.

This is pretty much all I've been able to come up with so far. I hope that it helps you narrow it down.

Not sure which direction to go other than I want a 'momma bear' type atmosphere/culture. I was first thinking training pants for toddlers as it is hard to find cute ones, OR something closer to the heart like pediatric heart disease which i have a child with. If i chose the latter, not sure how you promote any products or make money, would it be mostly promoting other peoples e-books about it? I just can't visualize the heart disease one converting in to income. Thoughts?
Reply

Well what does it entail to take care of a child with a heart condition?

Hospital trips? If so what do you use if any to keep them relaxed for this visit?
Foods?
Sleeping arrangements?
Do you need special equipment? If so what?

Your niche can have a support theme where you share ways to ensure your child a safe upbringing!

I wish I knew more about peds heart disease!

Hope this got the gears rolling!

I say pick one illness and build your site around that as it will be easier to build around and get traffic faster. If you just go with mental illnesses, it will get overwhelming. I had someone I was helping build a site on bipolar disorder and he did great with it in a really fast time, so definitely go with one and let's see how that goes.

Thank you so much for your input!! I was thinking that may be the case but i was leaning toward comparing anxiety, depression, bipolar, and another. Today i realized bipolar was probably my best bet. depression is also researched often! Thank you :)

Hello, everyone!

As an entrepreneur in the health industry, I have a few specific health topics that I would like to start with for my niche. The first being Keratosis Pilaris and cures/relief/research on that particular condition. What is it? It's what everyone refers to as "chicken skin" but it's a chronic condition for millions of people. It can be embarrassing and can create low self-esteem. I wish to help people learn more about this condition and the things they can do to find relief. There are products available through Amazon too, so I think it could work.

Anyone have any thoughts/feedback to share on that idea?

An example:

I chose to focus on cell phones and how to lower costs (EVERYONE wants lower costs!). My day job gives me content. Every question is a potential niche to write about and share.

You could brand yourself as the camera guy and be the best damn camera expert possible. Become the authourity in your niche and win the sale!

Good niche ideas! I've studied photography up to at least a semi-pro level, so I can maybe give my view on the photography niches. Some of this might be clear to you already - if that is so, just ignore that part. :)

At least the beginner DSLR/mirrorless cameras is a niche that has a lot of people looking for that information. I'm not sure if going for for example just mirrorless would be a good idea - not sure if it's too narrow or not. Might work, because mirrorless camears are now "hot". :)

In the beginner DSRL area there is a lot of information and articles you could write about that would bring people to your site. About the basics of manual photography, introduction to lenses, etc.

This niche is good because it is directly product oriented. Writing about Lightroom and Photoshop photo editing are both great too. Not as product oriented, but writing good tutorials would bring traffic to your site and you could then link to photography products to make money. As Adobe now offers their products as subscription, and I don't think they have an affiliate program, you would have to review/advertise other types of products on your site. A lot of people are looking for photo editing tutorials, so there is an audience there.

Lenses, very good topic, like all that you listed. This can be a surprisingly wide category. From cheap basic lenses to awfully expensive professional "mega" lenses you need a friend to help carry it around. ;) I would definitely try to narrow that niche down. For example lenses for beginners and their cameras. Probably those are the ones that you have and can have access to yourself!
Personally my biggest struggle with DSLR equipment has been the lenses. I have bought 1 or 2 cheap ones thinking that they can't be that bad, but they were...

Flash/Speedlite tips, a good niche too. Especially for beginners using flashes can be a very hostile territory. It was to me and to some extent I still feel uneasiness when I think about using a flash. If you could create some tutorials where you show how to achieve beautiful results with simple flash equipment (like 1 basic external flash), that might help people to buy.

Also, when choosing a niche in photography, I would think what kind of photographer I personally am. Am I more technically oriented or artistic. Do I like to explain all techincal details of the newest DSLR or am I more interested in composition, colors or creating some mystical abstract pieces (and building strange looking softboxes, reflectors or filters yourself to get your photo done).

Hope this gives you some new ideas and points of view for choosing your niche! At least I got excited about photography while writing this. You have great niche ideas. I'm sure that you can be successful in any of them!

You know who I would go look for if I wanted advice on buying a camera? A hobbyist that knows it, inside out and could explain how to use it in a friendly, no nonsense / technical way. Is a niche about natural hair care products and natural skin care products too broad for one website? Should that be more of 2 different niches?

Essentially I will want to be promoting natural hair care products for curly hair with reviews, tips and tricks, etc. But I also take care of my skin with all natural products that I would love to make content about for everyone.

My long term goal is to go from promoting products that I personally use that I feel can be of great benefits for others to eventually being able to make my own products to promote and when I am ready for that chapter of my life I know I will be doing both natural hair care products and natural skin care product.

What I am passionate about is personal growth (I've been reading a lot for a year now), especially related to self-esteem, relationships, goals fulfilment and mastery.
Do you have an opinion regarding the relevancy of this niche ? To you, does it sound too broad, or would it be good to narrow it down to a more specific subject (I was thinking about stoicism) ?
Reply
Interesting niche. I am very new to this but it might be broad. Stoicism I had to Google.. How about targeting a group of people to narrow the the niche? Maybe personal growth for teenage girls or self control for golfers. Thinks out loud here, not an expert of any kind (yet..)

I agree with Jocke, it is very broad. Perhaps you can think of some of the authors you enjoy and respect and think of their techniques. For instance, I enjoyed and got a lot from Brene Brown who wrote: Daring Greatly" How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead"
From this a niche could be: Self-Esteem and Vunerability or Transformational Thinking or Self -improvement books. Hope this helps.

I hope this helps to narrow it down. Inside of body or outside of body. Products and natural remedies. They are all good, just pick one or two. You could show video editing tips and techniques for different video styles. Green screen could also be incorporated into that and you could also promote green screen equipment and lighting to make money through Amazon. You could also recommend and promote video editing software through Amazon too.

By the way, I did a quick search and found a good domain name for you to think about too.

Hi, Yeni!

Please don't concern yourself about competition. Competition is always a good sign. While there is nothing new under the sun, no one can convey healthy lifestyle information the way you can. Your following is comprised of individuals who form a relationship with you, because of you and the way you help them understand how to live happier and healthier lives. Let your personality shine through.

you'd have to familiarize yourself with these audiences, see what their needs are and can you both help and communicate with them, also you'd have to be knowledgeable in that niche,

you have a desire to help people, have you experience with these groups? When you mention blind people that is specific, when you mention disabled that is much broader - blind could be a subset within that larger niche.

I see Eddy has posted two articles of his in this thread about niche - check them out to see if it helps

I built an off the grid home a number of years ago, garden, make my own stuff with essential oils that sort of thing, and had intended to use Green Products or Green Living or Sustainable Living as my niche but I'm not sure if that's too broad. While researching available affiliate networks there seem to be quite a few with Green Products.

In a world of social media, I don't think it would be a bad idea to focus on what people love doing almost half of their time (pictures, selfies, videos). Everyone loves holding their greatest moments close. So why not help make that experience better? Great cameras, photo editing, and video editing! There is so much technology that exists today, and the innovation alone in this market is what makes it exciting! I hope to educate myself and others in this niche market by seeing what companies have to offer, from the cheapest equipment to the Cadillac's of the industry. Hopefully it will be worthwhile :). Any opinions?

I think you can do well with the teaching. Most people don't know how to take a good photo. Or how to shoot video either. As far as equipment goes, as an affiliate you may be able to make some money there too, but there are a lot of discount sites to compete with.

First of all have you done research on key words to find the number of hits you would get ie, high hits and little competition would be a suggestion you would be ok.

Second do a search (top of page) for your niche and see what comes up and if it connects you to anyone.

Hey there,

I work in compliance for a big life insurance company and I have over 20 year in insurance, mostly health insurance though. One of the niches I chose was helping people with denied claims as I have a lot of experience with medical billing from all ends.

You do not need to be licensed to place a link or banner on your site that would direct someone to free quotes, etc. From there you can possibly make some money on a referral basis, but not as a commission technically. You could also do reviews of different life insurance companies.

Good Luck on your journey!

Shari
Reply
Shari2Rescue Premium
Yes, you definitely need a license to sell insurance. Where I was licensed in Florida it was only a 40 hours course if I remember correctly. But then once you are licensed by the State you have to reach out to each insurance company to be appointed with them to sell their products. An alternative is to sign up under a broker but I wouldn't advise that because they will be taking away the majority of your commissions and renewals.

Best of luck! Reach out if I can help!

You can also join other affiliate programs so you can have relevant ads on your site that could provide you with additional revenue. Of course you can contact me. No problem.

Hey all!

Below is the "niche tree" I've developed. I wanted to check both to see if I'm on the right track, and also to get any other feedback that's out there for me. :-)

Is my understanding correct that when I run out of sub-categories, that is where I would find a potential niche?

I TG [Transgender] Social Transition;
Simple, elegant, on a shoe-string:
A MtF [Male to Female]
A.1 Voice
A.2 Deportment
A.3 Style
A.3.i Clothing
A.3.ii Make-up
A.3.iii Accessories

There is of coarse a parallel branch of the tree for FtM, but I'm figuring I can leave that alone for now! :-)

Take care, and looking forward to hearing from the community.

Thank you, Kit, for the niche tree you've listed above.
Bearing in mind that a niche is a group of people. If we take Transgender - Social Transition, for example, it's a broad topic to handle.

Therefore, the focus should be shifted to something specific
under that umbrella topic. For example, to the Male to Female Group.

In writing content, our focus as bloggers is to help that group of people (niche) we have chosen and trying to figure out what advise they will be looking out for (Male to Female Group).

Hopefully this answers your question. All the best.

I work at a well known big box stores within their cell phone department. I have vast amounts of knowledge that I share daily with my clients when it comes to making a decision on their plan, product & provider.

I'm interested in utilising the knowledge I gained and creating my brand around this niche, so that I can 1) sell more phones and 2) create a site at I can send clients to that I can monetize with external affiliate links (Amazon would be my preference) for the items that I currently am unable to supply.

Is Cell phones too broad of a niche? I live in Canada, in a small town where there's enough people to keep me busy in-store, but I'd like to expand that reach further afield rather than one geographical area. I also have knowledge within the electronics, technology & merchant services industries.

Has anyone got any ideas on where I should start within the cell phone niche? :)

Ya know what would be wonderful is a site that put it to you in plain English. If you are 80 and only talk on the phone once a week to you grandkids consider these phones If you are 18 and never put your phone down and selfie all day here ya go. If you have a business and you want to manage your business using your phone here ya go. And here's some consumer reviews. I just bought an Ipad. Did I get what I needed? IDK? Did I get a good one IDK? Sure would be nice to have a website that translated techy into English ya know for us lay persons :) Good Luck! P.S. LOVE Canada!!!

I'm thinking about doing products of specific PC parts such as the motherboard or CPU but should I be looking for these products off Amazon? Their is so many different sellers off Amazon with different prices that I don't know what to choose. Also what does he mean when he says "find your group of people?" Do I go off social media sites such as Reddit and talk to them? Last question, do you need your SSN for the products such as NVIDA because they want mine in order to have their products from their site directly?

Your niche is the group of people that re interested in the products, not necessarily prices. Are you trying to sell the products or market them? Here in WA, we primarily learn how to market products and get users to click on our affiliate links, not sell the products directly to the users...

A small move in the stock = a BIG move in the options I TRADE Options have LEVERAGE that make me 30%+ PROFIT per trade

I was thinking of starting a niche on transitioning to vegetarian/vegan eating (as I am in that process myself). That's a good idea. People have lower back pain for various different reasons arthritis, bending over wrong, hunched over a Computer all day at work, an injury etc.. Thanks for the input Geoff. It is a pretty large subject - the more I have been looking into it, the more I am realizing I will probably even need more than one website unless I narrow it down - so I have done that now - I have picked a pretty challenging area (just my nature) and going to focus on the waterwise garden - our summers here are long, hot and mostly dry, so it opens up an area that should attract interest. Lets garden together! I sure spend plenty of time at the end of the hose trying to keep it all alive as the summer temperatures climb and the rain backs off, and that has to change, as water is also becoming more expensive all the time. But we need the greenery!.

People who enjoy reading books written by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

I don't know about Sherrilyn Kenyon's books, but interests in computers is a very broad category you have to break it down into a niche (hardware, software, desktops, laptops, server etc).

I am assuming when you say "putting computers together" you're referring to building a desktop from hardware components?.

You'll still have to further break these categories down int niches.

I'm thinking about products and books aimed at middle age men to help lead a healthy well rounded lifestyle. I over came some personal rough seas several years ago and found a lot of inspiration in various books, programs, and resources that helped a lot. To the point I've had various friends ask me for advice. I'd like to be able to provide resources in this area and it's something I am passionate about.

A second idea I have is for people looking to find a job. In particular people who have worked at one place for a long time and find themselves out of a job for one reason or another. So my niche would be job seeking and resources for them.

Great explanation of what a niche is and how to choose one. I have a much better understanding and I think I may have found another niche (gotta fine tune it). It really was not a scary thing....yay!!
Reply
I have a lot of different things I'd like to try
One being for helping blended familys and handling troubled children and help the parents get through the hard part's of being blended.

Two being dogs everything about training what is best for them to eat different breeds and their special needs and tools to help you have a happy healthy dog, as well as products for them what to use what not to use. On top of service dog info and training mostly directed for military veterans who need a service dog.. one day I'll own a side business to help with that too but that's a non profit organization I have business plans for.

Three would be computers learning data recovery and how to fix issues your having with your PC also ways to fix and links to buy parts you may need along with how to videos on how to put the part in your self (money saving) and allowing remote access to help fix PC. On top of that I'd like to teach people ethical hacking to make using your PC more easy and simple to use and it allows you to change all kinds of settings you may not even know exist to make your PC unique to you if that's something you'd want to learn, fallowed by up dates on new technology for your PC and how they work what's best to use and best deals at the time with a option to compare and get the best deals, allowing your expensive break or computer needs to be as easy and costs efficient as possible. This could help also because most people like there broken things to be fixed right away and what better way then to show you step by step how to fix it right in that moment instead of making appointments and waiting a few days to get your work computer back. Plus nothing feels better then doing it yourself and feeling accomplished and then if anything happens again you hold that knowledge.

Those are just three of my many plans for my niche

Are any of those Worth working towards and could any of this benefit you?
Reply
TeresaS1 Premium
Any of these ideas would make a great niche. And your side business plans for the service dog business will still need a website. Sounds to me like you have awesome ideas and would be able to hit your target audiences.
I would suggest working one at a time and not trying to build too many at once. Better to practice with the first idea and build up your site. So what are you most passionate about? That's where I would suggest starting.
Good luck to your success!

You have 3 great niches there. You should figure which one you want most, most passionate about. Do that one first, put all you focus on it and make it great. Once it is launched and indexed and starts making money, then start building your second. Then third.
I had two sites with two niches and could not give the proper amount of attention to them both. Some of the members here, after I asked, advised me to concentrate on one site. After and only after that site is making money (real money) should you go back to the others.

My initial plan for a niche involves hone decor It's a wildly broad niche and I'm not sure which one of these two ways to go would be better:

1. Create separate niches with separate websites, for example Mirrors, Wall Art, Candle Holders, etc.

2. Keep the Home Decor niche as a single website and within it have sections or pages for Mirrors, Wall Art, Candle Holders, etc.

I hope I understand this correctly. I just started in on this yesterday so I'm still trying to figure out how it works and what I'd be doing. Help is greatly appreciated.

It could have potentially taken 3-4 months, but I spent so much time researching the right ratio of fats:proteins:carbs and finding the optimal exercise routine. It's been nearly a year since I started my journey (Sept '16) and I've perfected the diet and exercise down to a science. My target market is women ages 20-50 who have had children and are trying to lose all the weight they've gained and in return obtain a sexier physique, higher energy levels, and confidence. I would like to create a page that has the best sites for diet, exercise, food preparation equipment, and exercise equipment.

Great niche! I earned my Eagle back in 97, and my son is a rising Webelo. It's not too broad a niche at all. Just be sure your site is broken down into categories and you focus on narrower sub-niches for each category.

There's so much stuff you can talk about - camping gear, wilderness survival tactics, trapping and tracking, camp cooking, orienteering, backpacking supplies and how to use various tools, how to tie knots, and on.

For example, you can do a category on knives, axes, and other sharp tools. You could do another on wilderness survival with an article on how to find food and water when you're in the middle of nowhere (and sell filtration systems and stuff) or another on how to build shelters.

I hope that helps get you started...
