I have a webstore about prints on wood in Slovenian language, I want to have it translated to english if someone from USA visits the store. What would be best to do here?
There are plugins that can do the translation for your visitors. Pop over to wordpress.org and search for a plugin there. Make sure the one you choose has good reviews and good support.

You can upload video to your site without going through YouTube but it will slow your page load speed. You use 'Insert Media' just the same way as you add an image. A lot depends on how big the file is.
Use YouTube. Preferably because you can stick ads to the videos as well. Only if its your account though.
I wonder if you could take the video that you got from fiverr and open and save it with Windows Movie Maker and then upload it to YT? I'm wondering if YT detected something in it that was related to copyright infringement in their eyes? They stuck me with something similar a few weeks back and I just had to run it again thru WMM and replace the music. It uploaded fine after that and YT left it alone!

I was wondering if it's allowed to pay someone to promote your referral url from WA? Like on twitter and FB?
That should be fine.
It's the same as if you would pay for FB ads.
But I don't think you should let them promote your referral URL.
Might be better to let them share your link to your WA review on your website.

Hey all, thank you so much for your answers, I think the bet option is to add featured image, it works great. Thank you all again! You're awesome!
You publish it and can see it online.. It usually remains invisible in your back end container.. or looks like a gray box, yes...
Hi man.Only got home now from work so sorry for late reply.Did you publish your post already.I had the same problem, the blank screen was showing on my draft post. The second I published, the video was showing.
Hope this helps.
Seems that the basic question I have is how to add an image or video to the blogroll. Is this possible with the latest version of WordPress? I will continue to look for a solution. However, with my current knowledge, I can only have links and text on the blogroll, not images or videos. I will look into this further and see what I can find.
You can use the special recent post plug in which adds pics to posts.. see my site for an example.. http://makingmoneynatural.com
This can easily be done by taking screen shot of your video and add it as a picture and have it linked to the original place.
Hi jvranjes. Thanks. I will try this also. This 'problem' seems to be unique to the blogroll. If I paste embed code from a YouTube video on a page, it displays just fine without having to do any extra work.
Thanks for the tip.
Hi jvranjes. I tried this, however, the image still does not show up on the blogroll. Do I need to create a static page for the front page to accomplish this?
This can be the issue of theme. But if you would have the image in the first paragraph on the right and you add 'read more' appropriately I believe it would appear in the blog roll.
Hi jvranjes. Awesome. I just figured it out. When editing a post, to the right, and slightly down, there is an option to 'add featured image'. I did that and now the image shows in my blogroll. When I click the image it takes me to the post (see attached screenshot). Thanks so much!
I used this site to test it:
http://network.siterubix.com/
I use that to try things without having to disrupt my main site.
I should also note, I am using the 'Ambition' theme.
Hi Kush1000. I will embed a YouTube video on my blog roll and see if I get the same result. Give me a few minutes.

Hey I'm trying to figure out how to create multiple pages and then sort my articles in those pages, like when you look in the news type of site (my site is about news) How do I
Hi, go to the search bar and type in Menus and Categories, there are trainings, blogs etc on how to do them. that sounds like what you are looking for.
Here a couple : Customize Wordpress Menus in Themes That Don't Support Custom Menus WordPress Dashboard Tutorial - Custom Menus WordPress Categories Tutorial
Hi Kush, Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on appearance and then on menus. This is where you can arrange your pages and the posts that go to each.
I am not sure if this will be of help a couple of themes might help is Dynamic news or Feijoa
I have made a "fake" blogrol on my landingspage
Added a picture, an excerpt, previous- next, postname and written by
Here you can see it

I used this for my reviews. They pop up in my blog role but also under reviews on a category page. Creating A Category Page
Glad it helped. Make sure to thank Leo for creating the tutorial. It made me very happy too! :)
How about theme from StudioPress? They have News Pro theme, I think it would be perfect for you.
Do you mean categories? You can group your post into categories and add the categories into your menu
You will need to create new categories first. Go to post -> categories, then create them all there, eg funny, freshly squeezed, popular etc.
Then go to appearance -> menus -> choose your categories (should be on your left) -> drag and drop them under your main menu on the right
This is precisely how I handle things like this on my sites. It works very well because when I create a new post I can just select the category. When someone clicks that menu item it displays all of the posts for that category.
This site is young but you can see how when the "News" menu is selected all of the posts in my News category are displayed.
http://wdwmagicalmemories.com/category/news
This will only work for posts and not pages as pages cannot have a category unless you install a plugin to handle that.
Based on what you've described, I don't think you can do that in Wordpress. Have you considered creating news categories and putting those categories in your menu? That way, when a visitor clicks on a category such as Sports, they will be directed to a page with all the posts about sports.
I'm on my phone now, so it's difficult to post a link.
Search for "category" in the search field here on WA and have a look at the training that pops up first.
It's also a theme related thing, depending on how you want to have it exactly.
