If I come back to WA platform after a few months, will I able to restore my website content again?

I am planning to quit.

Make sure you back up your website before your membership expires so you can move it to another hosting provider. http://marionblackonline.com/move

THANK YOU for your information.

Hi Fiona, sorry to hear you are planning to quit. I think Diane have given you a better answer than I could.

How ever it works I wish you all the best. Remember your can store your site on the cloud also.

All the best,
Michael

Michael,

I think I will be back.

Hi Fiona,
Will be looking forward to your return.

Always best wishes,
Michael

We'll leave the light on for you, Fiona!👍👍😎

Hi - if you wish to continue working on your site and keep it visible on the internet, you need to move it to another hosting provider. If you don't do this, it will go dormant and not be seen or accessible.

If you leave your site here, you should take a back-up of it just in case. Typically, Site Support can restore it if you are gone less than 6 months but this is not guaranteed.

I'm sorry to hear you are looking at quitting. I believe Wealthy Affiliate allows you 30 days to move your site to a new host.

Thanks, Marion, that's good to know.

Can I keep the domain after I cancel WA membership? How to transfer the domain?

Fiona, domain accounts are separate from hosting. I asked Kyle whether the hosting changes affects domains.

See the replies in this thread: If you don't want to host your website elsewhere right now, do a back up of your website on your computer or disk drive while you still have access until your premium membership expires, and upload it to your new hosting service when you get one.

At your new hosting service account, you will be able to add the WA DNS address to connect your website to your domain.

~Jude

I should buy a new hosting before my membership expires?

It is up to you Once you backup your website files to your computer or separate disk drive, those files can be uploaded at your new host when it suits you.

An easy way to backup all of your site files is to use WP Clone, a plugin which was gone for a while but they're back.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/

As a safeguard you can make a second backup using WordPress Tools - Export. This does not back up your theme files, only your posts and pages content.

Marion did training a while back. I've posted in that thread whether her training still applies to the updated WP Clone plugin, so you might want check her reply. It is better to backup all of your files while your Premium is active to get continued support until expiry. Consider asking your new host what help they can provide with uploading your backup files. WA does this moving process for us when we join here, but most hosts don't, or they charge a fee for it. ~Jude

You can transfer both your domain AND your website to another hosting provider. WA give you a month to do this if you decide to leave.
My advice is to stay with WA though as all your hosting is included in Premium membership and is far better value and far cheaper than any equivalent packages out there. It's worth staying just for the hosting regardless of whether you continue with affiliate marketing.
Cheers
Rich :-)

The domain is your. It is your right to transfer your domain name registration between registrars. If you wish to move your domain name from one ICANN -accredited registrar to another, you may initiate the transfer process by contacting the registrar to which you wish to transfer the name.

Walmart affiliate closed my account before because I didnt make any sales.

Can I reapply again?

Has anyone tried that?

Hope you're able to be reapply, Fiona!

Hi Fiona, I know I got booted out of amazon for lack of sales within a 180 day period. I just waited for my traffic to build up and re-applied and was successful.

With all the isolation going on, and stores shutting down I am pretty sure Walmart will want you on their side, to sell their products online.

Best wishes,
Michael

It depends on the network, you may need a new account to re-apply or they may have a 3-6 month freeze before you can like CJ Affiliates

what did you mean 3-6 month freeze?

when i applied with a new account, it stated that I had already got an account of my website.

hey hi Fiona ... good question and all questions are good ones here!

Suggest you might want to try to obtain constructive feedback from them if at all possible.....

Most affiliates like to see a viable, engaged website with lots of traffic/visitors, comments/engagement, quality posts ...

Of course, you can always apply again and of course, it would be helpful to your case if you've made gains / improvements on your website ...

All the best to you for every Success, cheerio ... :)

Google adsense doesn't approve my website.

It just stated my website has some problems. Did not state which specific problems the site has. I don't know how to fix it.

There are some good pointers in the comments. I don't know what I could add except maybe they think there are too many affiliate links in each post. I really don't know.

Congratulations!

The code for your Google Adsense is not inside the <head> and </head>. It's between </head> and <body>.

I was denied 3 times and I wasn't given specific reasons. My website is almost 3 years old with 198 posts and an average of 400 daily visitors.

Hi - you certainly have enough posts. I wonder if it is because your Affiliate Disclosure is incomplete. There are 2 places in it where you have not entered the name of your website.

"Any/all of the links YOURWEBSITE.com are affiliate links"

"When a reader clicks on an affiliate link located on .com to purchase an item"

Ok I try to edit that.

Thank you so much

That happened with my site but eventually it was approved after the traffic increased. I didn’t have to “fix” anything.
How’s your traffic?
