I have made the first sales!
I was really worried because I haven't made any sales on Amazon affiliate. Amazon reminded me if there are no sales within this month, my account will be closed.
2 Days ago I asked my hubby to order 1 item (using IP at his office). Today when I logged into my account, I was amazed!!!!!!!!!! There were 2 ordered items.
The conversion should be from google search. When I checked my google search console, there was 1 click last Sunday.
Some more statistics here:
There are 20 posts on my website.
According to google search console, there are only 3 clicks on my website.
The average click through rate is 0.8%.
The traffic of my website is less than 5 on average. (every day)
I don't know which product the customer ordered.
I guess I have made sales on a less competitive keyword.
How often do I write articles?
I have started writing my blog in April. I only wrote 1 article every week in April, May, June and July. But I worked particularly hard last month. (2 articles per week)
Actually I have stopped working for 1 week on my website. Now it shows that I should work harder! Though I only made very little money with 1 sale, my efforts still paid off.
I really hope that I will have the third sale before Amazon close my affiliate account!!!
WA buddies, please give me more encouragement to work harder!! My hubby asked me to give up before. Now I will show to him that I should not give up this online business.

We have the same situation, my wife asked me to stop my online venture but I just keep on going until now. I said to her, the more I'm at a loss when I stop. A website is a website and i have already invested much time and premium membership I have to continue. I know there's only little thing to do and money will come.
I think after written the articles, the articles accumulate on the blog. Even if we stop writing, our blog can still help us drive some revenue.
Your sales sounds like a confirmation that you are on the right path. Keep on keeping on!

My first sale is from a friend too. So for me, I think we should not underestimate the importance of sharing our Amazon Affiliate blogs in our personal Social Media first :)
In addition to that, you know what your friends like so make a blog and include the items you think they would want to buy. Works well when you post your Amazon Affiliate articles about 3-2 weeks before a holiday.
Give them ideas on what to get or what to gift for that occasion :)
