Hi All, can you edit a post in Site Content after you have already published it? I am just getting started here and I went back to add images to my already published content,

Thank you all! I appreciate all of the feedback. I was able to get this done. One more question if anyone has some time? I am trying to set my featured images, but then that featured image ends up as the first image in my blog post above the heading and I don't want that. Is there a way to just have the featured image on my home page with the blog post title, but then not post in the actually blog post itself? My Wordpress theme is Botiga.

Is your siterubix.com website available to test this. That would be a great place to try this.

I am confused as to what you are really trying to d.

If you wish to create a static home page or use a specific post as your static home page you can do that. And have your image show as you state.

Images can be placed in a page or post content section by WP add image (this could be done in your post before the content starts.

Also to see what you theme allows for home page
Wordpress back office scroll down left hand sude Appearance -> customizer -> Heading or Home page.

You could also do a browser search Botiga demo or Youtube search and see how it is installed by others.

That was helpful! I figured it out! Thank you!!

Hello. Good question. After publishing you can't add pictures from content. You need to go to the content site and then click on published edit to go to wordpress. And from word press you need to upload pictures from your computer or mobile but not the search obtion for pictures. After you finish you need to click on update on the top right hand side. It's easy but if you have any doubts, Let me know how it goes. Bye.

yes. go to the page, make your edit, click update.

So how did you go in WordPress?
Were you able to work out how to add pictures through the media button near the top of your post?

Lily

I got it to work, thank you!! I recently read your article "How to Triple Your Writing Speed" and really enjoyed it!

Thanks so much.

Hi

If you edited a document in site content and published it, future edits has to be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.

I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the “temporary image” doc in site content so that it does not get indexed as well.

OK, that is very helpful, thank you for responding!!

So very welcome.

Would be nice to hear how you are getting along. Much obliged and best wishes.
