They keep telling my that my website is under construction. I don't know what they are seeing that is under construction. Can anyone help me out?
the usual reason for saying that is it means you don't have enough content or enough traffic
Well, I guess both of those could actually be true right now. I will try again after I update the things Marion told me about and get more content on my site.
Sometimes it seems like they don't know what they're talking about. My few suggestions would be
1. Change your 'About Kristi' to a page instead of a post and ditch Uncategorized from your category list.
2. Add your Categories to your menu as well as your sidebar (or instead).
3. Remove the background image as I find it distracting. (Just my opinion.)
Normally when you are still working on your site, we keep it 'under construction' status. Can you confirm that your site is already live.
You can do that by visiting your site without login to your wordpress site. If you can see the site, it means the site is live.
Another check you can do is through the wordpress setting > reading > make sure the box that says "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" is unticked.

Hello,
Thanks for responding so quickly. I've checked on my website quite a few times now without being logged in and I can see it.
I also checked the wordpress setting you suggested and that box was not checked.
Also, my website has been indexed for a few weeks...
Okay, so it might be due to insufficient content on the site. Maybe focus on getting more content and re-apply later.

I'm trying to verify my site with ebay but don't know where to put the code.
Go to "appearance" then "Editor" then under Theme files scroll down to Theme header. click that then it should be somewhere in that code.
That's funny, I have never seen that message before. I have not had any problems adding ads by doing that.
I think it may be fairly new as a lot of sites get broken accidentally. I'm sure it didn't used to be there a couple of versions ago.
Ok, I checked out the link you posted below and that does seem as a safer way to do it. Especially if you have no expense with code.
This is for anything you need to add to the head section Applying for Adsense and Where to Paste the Code
Thank you so much!
That was an awesome video. Simple and easy to understand instructions.
Do you know if I can add multiple things in the same header?
Yes. Just add one under the other. The order doesn't matter as long as you don't put one lot of code in the middle of another.

I tried to post the Affiliate Disclosure statement to my website but got a message indicating that it is not original and that Google doesn't like that sort of thing...Am I sti
It's been recycle a lot of times.
Ignore it as this is not part of your content. Most legal pages are indexed despite it is duplicate.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was a little worried about that. Just to be clear, I click the two boxes that state "No Index this Page" "No Follow this Page" but not the one that states "Disable on this Page/Post"?
Hi Kristi -- generally if it relates to templates on disclosures/legal stuff/policies sounds correct without seeing the pages... thanks kindly for your question, all the best, cheerio.. :)
Yep -- it says the affiliate disclosure is "not original" because we all post the same one. In this case, post it anyway.
Kristi, ignore that warning but also check the box that let's Google and the other search engines not to index that page my Friend.
