I knowthat I have read this somewhere already, but I am having issues finding the information again....what do the different areas mean?

Krazy Kat has you covered.

Avg = average monthly searches on that keyword..ideally you want to see greater than 50

Traffic=expected to see this number if ranked 1

QSR = quoted search result (competition)..you want to see less than 300...the lower, the better

KQI = ideally green, yellow is okay

SEO = viability...the higher, the better...ideally you want the closest to 100

Domains= actually show the domains that are available with the coolest new addition that you can click on it and buy it through WA

I hope that helps. Jay explains it well in this webinar.

Thanks...it's what I was looking for!

Good. You are welcome!

Thank you for posting that. I have come across things also that I am not sure where I saw it the first time.

Just click on the little question marks next to to words like avg-traffic-qsr

Just need info..don't know how this works.

When you copy the banner code make sure you use the HTML code. DO NOT just use the Direct Link. That is only the graphic and doesn't include your referral ID.
Tom

THANKS!!

They got you covered.

Yes. Your affiliate id number is included in the code. If you know how to add a link to text or an image, it's easy. Let me know if you're still having a problem with it.

You have to use your referral link (see profile) with your referral id.
When people click on the banner they are linked to WA together with your affiliate/referral ID and in that way WA knows that those people come thru your banner...
(It puts a cookie on their local computer that stays there, so also afterwards if they would join, they will still be your referrals...)

GRtz,
Bert

Thanks!!

The banner code which you use will have your affiliate link. When someone clicks on your banner, if they sign up, it goes to your account.

Thanks for the response! !

If you take an affiliate banner from WA and put it on your site. your affiliate link will be embedded already because it came from your WA dashboard.

Thank you!!

when I go to my site manager to log I to my website in the works....under Google index it says yes, what does that mean?

Thanks I was wondering the same thing!

It means that google ran all of its checks and balances and you are good to go!!!!! Congrats!!!!

It means that Google has crawled (looked over and evaluated using mini-robots) and now the world can find your site using the Google search engine.

How does the fact that nothing is posted/published yet effect me?

If you mean that you have no posts or pages yet but have been indexed, then I would be confused too.

ok...very confused myself....I went ahead and published what I have....

Great you are in view but also are you on yahoo/Bing as well and now I am using Yandex

it means that the google robot has already crawled your site.

Indexing is usually a good thing. Google sends out these "spiders" or "bots" that comb the internet constantly at a speed we can't even comprehend. It basically reads whats on your web page and that's how it decide what page you'll appear in when someone does a search for your niche topic. That's just the "Reader's Digest " version.

It basically means that Google has discovered your page or pages to your website.
Here is a link that can help you with your question a bit more
http://goo.gl/AIaqCz

It means that Google has found your site and can show it in the search results.

You can see which pages it has indexed by typing:

site:YOURDOMAINNAME.COM

into Google and seeing the results.

Thank you. So, since I have not yet published anything....is it indexing off of thE pre entered default info?

Yes. It'll just show the default 'Hello World' page or whatever you have

Does that negatively affect me if my site is not up and running yet?

It means that google "crawled" your whole site and has like a text image of it stored somewhere....
Google will only read/keep the text...
In this way it is possible to give you a good ranking in the search results...
Google re-indexed your site all the time, so changes are also recorded...

Here you can see how Google sees your site:

Always interesting...

Bert

Definately interesting!

I have gone to my email and followed the link several times and am still getting a request for email verification of my domain every time I log into WA. Does anyone have any i

Who is sending the email? Have you contacted them to see what the problem is? If it's WA, send in a ticket to support and see if they can help.

Go to Account Settings and change the "Automatic log in" to On

It is on as I sign in from emails in relation to posts etc.

Then I don't understand your question. Where are you trying to log in? Do you mean WA or your website?

my website

I'm talking about the domain I bought for my website it is saying that it needs email verification and I have use the link that was sent to me to respond to that and it still is saying I need to email verification I just want to make sure I'm good because it supposed to be done by the 2nd

Where is the email supposed to be coming from? "supposed to be done by the 2nd" 2nd of what? January? February? Did you receive the email? Did you click the link in the email?

Yes I got the email. Yes I clicked on the link. By the 2nd of feb.

Hi Kris Bar,
Did you get an answer that worked? I'm having the same issue. Is it a bogus email? Or legit?

No need to go into elaborate detail, just a brief synopsis including your name, nationality, family status; how, with no previous knowledge of the internet and website building, you learned how to build a website and online business, and now you want to help people who are in the same position that you were in XX months ago.

This helps...I didn't think of it as posting when I was done...why I don't know...you are awesome! !! Thank you!!:-)

Your more than welcome, if I can help with anything else, give me a shout.

Start off simple. As time goes on you can add to it. While you are at it check out the "About Me" pages of some of the ambassadors.

Have already done that...makes me feel like I have nothing to back myself up when reading all about their expereince!!

Send me your page

Let people know what you are interested in, and maybe where you are from. Tell them how you found out about WA and what attracted you to it. Then let them know what your thinking is today on how to use this opportunity. Hope this helps.

Keep on keeping on.

I'm leaving you my bootcamp site about me.

Some of the best I've read tell a story of how they came to Internet Marketing.

Like a lot of my mentors say...don't stress to much about it ..it will be updated/changed as you grow your business. : )

Thanks. ..I checked it out. You are awesome! !

Hola Kris, I have a template to get you started:

I’m {your full name} and I am {your title/ vocation} ___________ [a writer/ blogger/ life coach/ motivational speaker/ jewellery designer]

I work with/ write for {your target market/ ideal client/ ideal reader} ___________ [overworked corporate goddesses/ budding entrepreneurs/ wild-hearted women]

Helping them {how you serve} ___________ [reclaim their energy/ build their dream business/ hone their intuition]

You might be thinking: but what if I’m not yet fully where I want to be? (for example, if you’re an aspiring health coach but still knee-deep in a corporate cubicle while you figure out how to move full-time into your dream biz).

My answer? This is your chance to declare your ........ to read the complete article http://inspacesbetween.com/blogging-business/about-me-page/

Give a story about your self and how you relate to your niche. It goes to establishing your reputation as an authority in the niche.

I agree with Pisquali. People tend to like stories. Short stories will do and you may want to respond curious readers why you choose your niche.

Just be open and friendly and tell people a little about you, what you are interested in, what you like to do, etc. Don't give too many personal details, just basic information and maybe why you choose WA. Think of it as writing a paragraph about yourself and what you would want others to know. You will do fine. Good Luck.

Just tell them who you are and why you are building a website. It really is just a hello page. :) You can have a look at some other members about me pages to get some ideas. Just go to some of the people you are followings profiles and click ontheir website links in the lower right corner of the screen. You will need to scroll down to find them Feel free to check out mine

I did that already before this post. They are talking about their internet experience in order to gain trust, I don't have that edge and am trying to think of something that will get that for me.

Just keep it simple and say hi. You can and you will update it as you grow in the business :)

I look at the websites of others here...they are so professional looking and I know I cannot create that at the beginning....I don't know how I will compete with such experience!!! I have to produce and provide something that is not there yet.....hmmm.

It gets easier as you go. My first sites were so crude, lol. We are all beginners, give yourself a pat on the back for starting, that is the hardest part, taking that first step. Keep walking, lol

Will do...quit is not in my vocabulary, but I do also find it difficult to find the positives as well
