I have changed the domain name of 2 sites, how do I update them on my WA profile page?
That's a great question because I find that I can edit the links on a PC or laptop but not on my phone. Jim
Click on your profile image in the upper-left and select Account Settings.
Scroll down to the bottom of the follow me on links and click the edit links button.

I'm on step 4 of level 4 training, social network. I have set up my Pinterest account but the dashboard for Pinterest Kyle is working from in the training is NOTHING like the o
Yes I can confirm that although I also have an account with Pinterest but have so far been unable to use the link on my website, nor transfer images from my website to Pinterest. I will look with interest to see what responses you get(excuse the pun)
Thanks for responding, I will look at Karin 's comments and see if this helps. I have now created a board but have yet to connect to my website.
I have been using Pinterest for a couple of years. It's my "go to" social media site. I have 1300+ pins, which is not much compared to some.
There are some of the videos that are different than how they look now because of changes to the programs. I overcame the differences by just playing around with the program. I still have a lot to do to make it work how I want it to, but it is doable.
Best wishes,
Karin :)
I can't attach any of my posts to Pinterest as he shows because I don't have the dropdown menu. I can find no other way to get it done. Here is what I see on my Pinterest dashboard.
This is what mine looks like:
I click on "pins" and then create a new one to post my stories...
When I try to do that all I get is the title of the post, not the entire post including images.
I get the pin creation page just like you show. I fill in the url to the post from my site I want to pin, and the description. Then when I click "upload pin" only the title uploads, not the entire post.
The entire post won't upload, it just creates a link to your website (at least that is what it does on mine). This is a series of what I do and what the end result is:
OK thanks! That is different than what Kyle's video led me to believe was supposed to happen.
You have cleared up my dilemma!!
Thanks Karin!!
I sure hope it works for you, KyleAnn! If I can help with anything else, please let me know!
Best wishes,
Karin :)
You're the best...and I'm just a knucklehead when it comes to some of these social media sites!!
Thanks again!
If you see what Kyle does in training I'm not able to do because my Pinterest dashboard doesn't have the menu as his does. Here is a screenshot of what mine looks like.
so know scroll through pintrest and find cat related images go to my profile and click on pitrest and you'll see what i mean
I can do that, what Kyle is wanting me to do in training is to attach one of the posts from my site. He shows a dropdown menu with an option of looking up a url but my Pinterest dashboard doesn't have that available.
Hi KyleAnn,
Pinterest's interface has changed quite a bit since Kyle's video was launched. Also, if you open your account as a business account or convert a personal account and convert to business the home page looks very different.
Think of Pinterest is basically a way to "hoard items without taking up physical space in your house". Or - think of having a few bulletin boards on a wall in your home - each board designated for a different "interest" ("Recipes", "Hair styles", "Travel", etc.). Then, as you thumb through magazines and find pictures of items or articles you like you cut them out and "pin" them onto one of your boards. Pin + Interest = Pinterest
Regarding the training - forget attaching an article - Pinterest is about images.
What you'll do is click the "+", copy paste the URL from an article from your website. Then upload an image saved somewhere on your computer that is featured in that article. Finally, add a few words to the description then choose which board to save it to.
People following you will see your "pin" and if they like it will pin it to one of their boards.
If you'd like to see my Pinterest boards (and you'll see that I am a total addict) I should have the link posted on my profile page.
Happy Pinning!
Susan
