I'm asking this because I'm reading "professional" blogs everywhere, and I almost never see justify being used, if at all. I like the clean and tidy look of it, but should it on

I never use justify, it almost never fits the way I want it to

Justified copy - justified both sides - is harder to read and not necessary in single column work. If you do multiple columns, then justify. Also some paragraphs in a single column document can be justified for eye appeal and emphasis.

I suspected that it might be harder to read, scaring off readers. I guess I have to look deeper into this.

I love to justify my text because of my own OCD, but I have met other persons who have commented that justified text doesn't look natural. I think that this is a personal preference, so it's up to you.

Yes, I was thinking the same. I was afraid that maybe justify was a bit tiresome to read and kills the "flow", but my only reference being my own blog, it was hard to decide what to think of it.

I always justify my text. That's the way newspapers and magazines do it, and I like things to be neat and symmetrical. But I don't think there is any right or wrong.. it's just personal preference.

I have justified all my text as I think it looks neater. There is no set rule, it is a matter of preference. Wendy.

Do you mean justifying the text on your post? I think most just go with left-hand justified. I think that's a much cleaner look, as opposed to all the spaces in between when it's fully justified.

Not sure what you mean, Knut. What do you mean by "justify"?

I always use it Knut, but I know what you mean I've seen many many site that dont use it, I think its just a personal preference

Not really understanding your question? Can you give an example.

As long as it looks clean and easy to read set it up the way you prefer.

So I picked a theme called 'Moustache' in wordpress, and I like the look and feel of it. But I noticed that there is no option for adding a header image in customization. Might

Hi Knut!
If you take a look at the demo for that theme, you can find a page talking about Layouts under Features, right? There is an image there with the layout elements, one of them being called "fullscreen", do you see it?
Perhaps you could use one of those as your header by moving it to the top of the page structure, what do you think?

Hey thanks EduCard! I'm pretty sure it's another theme called "moustache" because they are completely different..hmm, let me see if I can find it...

There!

Oops, my bad! That page should help...
After looking at the theme preview page for the theme using Firebug and checking the code found in the Development Log, I think you could go to the header.php file of the theme and look for the line:
<header class="site-header" role="banner">
You can probably add a line of code to that section to load an header image but you might have to write some CSS code to adjust it to different screen sizes and all that!
This is the file and code you should probably be looking for - http://goo.gl/kOCjgm

You know what, I think I just might be able to do that...Gonna check it out tomorrow when my head's a bit clearer. Really appreciate your help, thank you so much!!

Always glad to help! As a Computer Science student I totally understand how difficult and frustrating these things can be sometimes! XD
Good luck with that!

Your site is straight to the point.
NICE!!

Thank you so very much! The audiophile audience might not be so visually hungry, sometimes only looking for information on what they want and need. So I try to keep it simplistic. I hear that I should spice it up with some colors, keep it more lively. So I'm considering that. I'm a beginner. So I appriciate your comment! Either way, it's in its infant stage. I plan on expanding it some, before entering an affiliate program...

Hi Knut, try Empo by Anariel Design. It's pretty easy to customize both through customize on the dashboard and CSS.
Take a look at the theme in its original form, then if you wish, have a look at how I have customized it for both my sites: www.safeweightloss4all.com, and www.internetbasedhomebusiness opportunities.com.
Hope this helps.

That's a good looking theme, thank you very much! I'm going to test it tomorrow first thing in the morning!!

You're welcome Knut, be interesting to know how you get on. If I can be of any help give me a shout.

SAVE your site to the hard drive on your computer. Then just keep trying other themes. It worked for me.

Oh ok, I'll make sure to save from now on. Thank you!

This theme doesn' seem to come with the option to add a header image (I tried it on my test site) unless you code. You could contact the developer and ask, they are usually pretty helpful. :)

Yeah I know. *dries eyes*
I know some coding, but it looks like quite the task when checking the editor. I'm installing another theme.
Thank you Kathy!

I thought you might need to do that, I've been through so many themes trying to get all the elements I want!

go to your wordpress dashboard, go to appearance and click on customize, you should be able to make several different changes.

I went looking for it, didn't find anything so it's off to another theme.
Thanks Bob!

It looks like its designed for the whole front page to be an image http://yootheme.com/demo/wordpress/moustache

I'm wondering if this might be another theme?

Maybe.

Hi Knut! -

How are you?

Does the theme have a header tab - under appearance ?

Hi David! And nope. :s

It's time to look for another theme my friend! :(

You're breaking my heart David!

I am so sorry Knut!

But there are lots - and lot's of themes to choose from -- I am sure you WILL find the right one for your Website! :)

Yeah.. I'm going hunting now.
Thanks so much for your input Dave and profitsrgood!

You are very Welcome Knut!

Mind how you go it's a jungle out there! :)
