I think you make some very solid points. While I've always tried to write my posts as if I were talking to a friend, I was also an English major, so I tend to speak and write in complete sentences using proper grammar. Many people don't do that.

I'm glad there are at minimum free tools such as Grammarly to help ensure that the professional level of writing is improved with a simple scan. While it's not the panacea of ensuring great writing, it will at least assist in proper spelling and grammar.
