I think this has to do with the theme I picked initially. I only saved 4 themes but I don't wan to use them. Is there a way that I can get back to the other theme options and pi

Sure. Appearance. Themes. If you've already INSTALLED it, find it and ACTIVATE.
If not, you will see ADD NEW. Do you see Featured, Popular, New, and Latest? Click on each and sort though until you find one you want. Install and Activate. Save your changes.

Thank you!!

You're welcome and good luck!

So if my chosen niche is shoes, would my website have to include the word "shoes" in it? Or can I get more creative with the name? And also, would it be better to narrow my nich

How narrow you take your niche depends on what your keyword research brings you to (or your passion of course) and whether the smaller niche is marketable.

As for site names...really doesn't matter. Get creative! Let your imagination run wild inside the heads of your customer...think about what might tweak their interests.

Gotbigfeet-dot-com or PetiteFeet-dot-com might both work for someone selling oversize/undersize shoes, even though the word shoe isn't in the site name!

So I have just created my first website using SiteRubix. I was just wondering if its better to move the site to my own domain (since I'm a premium member) or if it even matters

I would recommend that you do move your site to your own domain simply for the fact that a dot com domain looks more professional and neat without the siterubix extension. It will cost you about ten dollars a year to do this.

Not bad at all, Thank you!!!

By now I believe you can continue using siterubix, but you should go to Namecheap and look after the name you want for your site.
And if it happens for you to find the perfect name available you should by it, you don't know if someone else will pick it.
On the other hand if you are still thinking about a name you can delay the decision.
However, you should definitely go to Namecheap and do some research about names.

SO if I chose cosmetics as my niche, is that too broad? Or would it be better to narrow it down to just one specific cosmetic such as mascara, or eyeliner?

Hi i'm interesting in create a website for selling Venezuelan food only on line, what do you think about it? thanks!

Hey!

I'm fairly new to Wealthy Affiliate & I have followed some of the lessons on course 1. I'm currently on lesson 6.
I have thought of my niche but I'm not to sure if it will over complicate things or not? My niche is regarding All Accessories for all ages both male & female. I'm aiming just to build one site that can promote all different accessories from hair gel to phone chargers (for example).

What can I do to my site to make this look demanding?

hope this helps

Thanks!

I don't think I would narrow it down to specific cosmetic items because you may find that you don't have enough to write about. I'd stick with cosmetics as a whole myself. :)

That's true! Thank you!!

Hi there,

This is always a tricky question - if a niche is too broad, then rankings will be difficult, if a niche is to narrow, then traffic and sales will be limited.

Cosmetics as a core topic for a site should be OK in my opinion as it gives you a lot of scope to drill down to the specifics of mascara, eyeliner etc - so you should never run out of ideas for content.

Your site could have posts about make-up tips, reviews and advice about different products which should rank well.

Best wishes

John

Awesome! Thanks for your time and tips, Very much appreciated
