Update on Screen Sales - I'm Barely Keeping up with the Orders!

Hello WA friends and community,

I wanted to give a brief update on the sales of the screens I've begun to manufacture in my business.

Many of you will recall the previous posts I've made in regard to finding a new product to manufacture and sell.

My screens have been so popular, that I've barely been able to keep up with the incoming orders, which is definitely a good thing, and only a little scary!

The good news is that they ARE selling, and I am keeping up with the orders.

The bad news is that I have had to put off practically everything else... my website posts, my training, etc.

I'm thinking that at some point, I'll be able to get ahead of the game somewhat and get some inventory built up when the incoming orders slow down a bit, which I suspect will happen sooner or later.

For now, however; sales are good and I'm very busy making my products, which is what I was hoping for.

So, in other words, you could say I'm achieving the success that I imagined I could when I got into this venture.

Just wanted to let you all know that it's going very well, which is why you haven't seen as much from me lately.

You did come to class so if you can find the time to do that - that’s great. I’m glad to see your screens are getting orders and sales. Yes, there will be some numbers going from high to low that’s is expected with sales. When you get more downtime then you can focus on your your website and trainings here. I hope you broke even or ahead of your return on investment. Keep it up. 😀👍

Thank you Brenda. I will have nearly broke even when I ship out the order for 10 of my screens to Canada tomorrow. Although I just had to place another order for more of the aluminum frames, as I've gone through more than half of my initial order for these frames.

It's all good though! 😂

One thought I had reading this was is it possible for you to order enough supplies that you could pay someone to help you build up your inventory somewhat? I'm not sure of the process or level of personalization involved so it might not be applicable if you do have the resources,

How awesome you are so busy you are falling behind in some areas you wish to be productive in. A problem many of us would gladly have, hah hah.

Thanks Jason, it really is all new and exciting, and I'm so grateful to the WA community and platform, as it is my involvement with WA as a whole that has awakened my subconscious to be more receptive to what the universe sends me. It's crazy that the POTENTIAL for me to do this was there all along, but it took my involvement in WA, (i.e., finding my niche, building my website, writing my review of the machine that I build these screens for, etc.). I don't think I'd have seen the opportunity that was sitting in front of me all along, because I wasn't aligned with it, or in tune, whatever. I may have eventually thought of it, once I discovered the company that previously produced these aftermarket products was no longer doing so. But I may not have made that discovery for years to come, had it not been for WA and my niche-related journey. 😊

Since I was a child I've read the saying that when the student is ready the teacher will appear. Or when one is ready one will see the answer even by looking in the clouds.

I am well familiar with that quote from my Buddhist teachings, and I LOVE that truth, as I've seen it evidenced many times, but especially in this recent case.
In regards to hiring someone... it's an acquired skill and takes steady hands. Also, because the cost of the frames is high, my profit margin is not a huge one, therefore paying someone, (after finding and training them first) wouldn't be cost effective unless the sales of my product DO get beyond what I'm able to get done myself. I could purchase another stretching machine, which would speed up the process, but I don't think I'm quite to that step yet, either. Options I've considered if sales do continue to increase.

Yes, I have as well.

I was fortunate enough when I was self publishing to be invited into a small group inside a paid writer group I was a member of.

One of the members was always talking up law of attraction.

I had my doubts, but this guy kills it in sales. So I began shadowing him, placing aside my natural inclination against both the LOA as well as his views which often were at odds with my own.

I saw results that I would have bet against manifest for me during that time.

I'm glad you are already open to a second stretching machine. It feels to me you are on the brink of needing to take measures to expand your operation. :)

Haha, yes, I've certainly considered options. In fact, if my wife didn't suffer from fibromyalgia rendering her physically unable to work, I would have already recruited her help. 😊

Thank you Maria, it is very exciting to be sure. I've had my t-shirts that I've had random success with over the years, but creating a t-shirt design versus creating a product that is in high demand are two different "product design" experiences. Very exciting journey for sure, and I wouldn't have done it without WA!
