I am wondering if there is a way to organize my posts better. Are drop down style menus only a feature with some themes or is there a process to set it up?
Ok. more specifically...how do I get specific posts into a dropdown menu under acertain page/menu tab? example - I want all my recipes to "frop down" below a Recipe page I have on my site
Look at the first training about putting pages in a drop down. Its the same things with your posts. Go to appearance, menus - at the top click on screen options and make sure your posts and categories are checked that way you will see them displayed under pages, as shown in the training.
Then just do the same thing as you would for pages. Select the one you want and click, add to menu, then slightly off center it under your main heading to create the drop down

Have you been accessing your site through WA or outwith your account.
Usually a lot better when you login outwith WA altogether.
Also have you tried both the User and Admin logins.
Then there's also the fact that as you have been working away for a month. Have you been cleaning your DNS and your History.
It doesn't take long to build up all the crap stuff from what you've been working on.
Some people are experiencing problems at the moment.
You can try to log in manually.
Go to your website and write
/wp-admin/
behind your url.
This will bring you to your login page.
Then use the login details you can find on WA where you usually click on login.

Hi Kimberely, once in edit mode, highlight whatever text you would like to change the color of. Then, click on click on the capital A that is underlined to select a color. Selecting a customer color is a bit more challenging but that gives you a start. Hope that helps.

I don't know about CJ tax issues but Shopper's Choice is one of their Affiliate Advertisers and they won't accept Affiliate partners from five or six states within the USA because of Nexus tax laws. I'm from California and they won't accept me because of California Nexus tax rules. It's been a real bummer for me.
From memory they have different forms to use depending on where you live. I'm in Australia so I use the one for non-US residents.

I am writing a post and want to direct readers to some specific companys/ websites that can further/help them make decisions about their home business.
Kimberley no problem I think, if the site is yours you should be able to do pretty much whatever you want. One side benefit that you don´t mention is that they should act as a slap on the head to get the attention of search engines. For your own good just be sure you don´t give away free advertising to competitors. Cheers ..............

Of course, sending your readers to websites that may have greater authorship than yourself adds value to your reader and gives you greater credibility.
There is no reason you can't direct link to another company. It's actually encouraged sometimes. Google see's this as your site gaining more trust. If you are talking about a product, and you directly link to the product's webpage. Google picks that up. I myself don't do it often.. But once every 10-15 new posts, I try to incorporate a direct link to a known author.
Example: If I'm talking about a Sony PlayStation 4 review, and I talk about how it's out selling Microsoft's Xbox One right now, etc. I can directly link Sony's and Microsoft's website in the post. This flags Google and other search engines as a strong content boost.
There was actually a guide on here somewhere about doing this. It might have been in one of the webinar's, I know I just watched it last week or so. If I find it, Ill toss you a link to it.
