YouTube has changed its Monetization Program
YouTube has changed its monetization program for channels they have at least 10K or more views.
Today, I was quite surprised when the monetization tab was gone from the Video dashboard. I wanted to create my cards but all of a sudden it didn't recognize my website as verified anymore.
Have to check this out tomorrow when I am fit again.
Here is the link to read about YouTube's latest decision.

I still find it funny when I read that this change was implemented on April of this year but due to a glitch, they said, they did removed it just recently. LOL must have been a heck of a glitch.
Alright, folks take care. :)

Yep. I was not happy today when I uploaded a video. I had to apply for an Adsense account in order to link my site. I had verified my site a long time ago, very annoying.
Sounds like we may just need a little YT bartering system here at WA. With over 800,000 members, none of us should have to sweat getting to 10,000 views or subscriptions!!!
Hmmm, got me thinking... I've got one channel that doesn't need any help.
But I recently started a new one to correspond to my Boot Site. I'd definitely be up to this if enough folks were interested! Of course, we only need 10,000 give or take a few... LOL!
Lol, yeah it's just 10k we need.
Perhaps Kyle could create a thread where members who are in with creating videos on YouTube can get subscribers, just a thought. :)
I wonder if you can pay for YT views on Fiverr? Just upload a video that's real short, say a minute or so. Then again, anything I put on YT I want to be quality and informative... I dunno... wondering if Kyle would want to provide something like this. Wouldn't want him to get in trouble with YT/Google!
Well, I couldn't care less about the pennies I won't get, lol, the only thing I am a bit frustrated about is the fact that I can't create cards anymore and my website isn't verified anymore.
YT could have still left this feature that's all.
I feel your pain! I hadn't used any cards in my new channel so I'm OK there. Haven't checked yet to see if my site is verified. Reckon I better put that on the list of stuff to do... (-;
Yes, I noticed with my last video, I couldn't even add my website to the video, no chart, no add, nothing!
I somewhat can understand the fact to raise the bar about the monetization since there has been lots of abuse etc.
However, to take away the verification of the website doesn't make any sense at all.
This is a real bummer.
