Today was my "educational" Monday watching a few tutorials or reading them, but also have checked some articles from other sources which I also have found really helpful in the past when it comes to learning about internet marketing.

I don't deal with social media, but the article was interesting.

Yes, it certainly was an interesting read

Here is one of the many reasons I do not care for social media:

Post that!

Mickey, you can't believe everything that is out there but of course, it is always your responsibility how far you will go.

Social Media is a part of our life now but it is up to us to protect ourselves, which is still possible.

Good article Sylvia. These mistakes can also apply to our activity here as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Jerome for stopping by :)

Hi Sylvia, a great post. Irv.

Thanks Irvine, appreciated :)

I think those social media mistakes apply to many more people than just those in MLM. It is often so obvious, that posts etc. are nothing more than attempts at self promotion, with no thought given to relationships of any kind.

Yes, John, I think you have a point here. These mistakes can apply to other areas as well.

Thanks for sharing Sylvia:)

You are welcome :)

Thanks for sharing, Sylvia.

You are welcome, Roger :)

Could not agree more. As a very experienced and now retired MLM'er, I can vouch for all 3 mistakes. Truth be told, REAL success in MLM is as rare as winning the lottery. The trainings (I have been in at least a dozen MLMs over the years) are just BS, for the average person without influence and important contacts, and the methods of recruiting (talk to all your family and friends) just leads to you gaining a membership in the NFL ... "No Friends Left".

I cannot deny, that there ARE many success stories in MLM. Some people have made millions and do live lifestyles of financial freedom and luxurious comfort. In fact, with a couple MLMs, I myself made some pretty darn good money - for a short while. But the downside of any "success story" in any MLM is, hundreds, even thousands of people, had miserable failures and lost lots of money in order for those successful people to enjoy their lavish lifestyles.

That is why I found WA to be such a refreshing alternative to making money online. Here, we create success by offering value to people, and getting compensated in direct proportion to how much value we bring to the marketplace. Sure, we get some compensation from referring others to the program, but that is not a necessary component of how to be successful using WA as your main business model.

Nice seeing you here again, Marv and also for sharing your personal experience much appreciated. :)

Thanks Silvia for sharing this information with us. Had a look at the link. It makes sense!
