  5. Keyword Research
  6. Brainstorming ideas
  7. Graphic design
  8. Web design
  9. Social media
  10. Marketing
  11. Promotions
  12. Ad copy
  13. Affiliate marketing
  14. Photography

  20. Problem solving

  28. General business duties like accounting and networking

The list can go on and on.

So to be a one man show for all this can be very overwhelming. This is why it is a good idea to team up with your partner or a friend.

Our situation is a husband and wife team.

Brian is the Graphics, Photography, Video, Editing multimedia, Motivator, Ideas man and planner.

While Kris is the professional writer, editor, affiliate link builder, email marketer and networker.

We both have big strengths and weaknesses so it is important that we work as a team and play our most passionate roles to give out our best work.

What is your dynamics in your blogging team?

It has been proven you can't be good at everything, this is why going alone can be hard work.

We are lucky because we have different skills that complement each other when writing a blog.

Brian can't write like me and I can't do graphics or video like him, so this works perfect.

I'm a one lady band!
Yes you must work efficiently to get it all done.
I have bumped into a few teams on here, great idea too.
My strengths are determination and passion and believing in myself and the things I write about.
If you love sharing with others that is a great strength.
Some people are scared to write, I suggest to write like you are having coffee with a friend and expand from there.
Great post
Cheers
Daisy

Hi, Kris and Brian.
You have an awesome working relationship.

I am a solo team, but I do outsource on occasion.

The only drawback of being solo is that it takes longer to get all the tasks done and be good at all of them.

But I am in no hurry and know my direction.

Thank you for sharing the endless list.

Kindest regards from Southern Ontario.

Paul Mindra.

That's great Paul, It can all be done but it is just a little slower and you may have to train yourself a little more in your weak areas.
Or you can outsource!

Exactly.
Thank you.
Paul.

I think having a partner really helps, You are fortunate! Years ago I had a partner in a former business and the fact that we had completely different skill sets made us a great team. Unfortunately for me (though good for her) she decided to stop working to raise her family. These days I try to farm things out that I'm not good at mostly through Fiverr.

Erica

Awesome, work smarter not harder, I like it.

Actually, my 17 year old daughter helps me with my Pinterest strategy. She started using Canva before me for school projects and her own art blog.

That's cool, you need all the help you can get because it gets crazy.

Funny thing, I never even thought of including my other half, this baby is all mine.... 😉

It makes it easier when I don't feel like doing anything the other half is doing something. So it means our blog is always working on something. One person could not do that, they would just burn out.

Sounds like you have the ideal setup for your business. Unfortunately my wife has no interest in my business so i have no option but to do it all myself 🙄.

Mine was like that for a few years until she turned around and could see what I was trying to achieve. It is hard when one is striving for greatness and other likes things the way they are.

My partner isn't interested in the blogging business so I have to go it alone. My biggest weaknesses are motivation, videos and sticking to my plans.
But in fairness, I do have an offline business that keeps me very busy.
I struggle with videos because I actually hate watching them myself
I know they're all the go now and an important part of an online business but personally I'd much rather read about a topic then watch a video on it.. Jim

This is going to make it hard because sometimes you need the other to motivate and then sometimes you are the motivator. Try to sell this business to them so they can see what you are trying to achieve. It would help if both parties are driving towards the same goal. Cheers.

Well Kristine I am a newbie here and I have never done any marketing at all, nor work online or have my own website. So everything here is quite a challenge for me.

Nonetheless I am going with the flow and reaching out to the community whenever I need help.

Above all I am having a wonderful time in learning new things. I feel a rush whenever I write a content and publish it. More so when I get responses.

The process is slow but exciting.

Keep following the training and follow the steps it is a long road. You don't become a doctor or engineer overnight it takes years. Same with blogging it takes years to master the skills to succeed.

Enjoying it is the main part, keep growing!

Hi Kristine,

You have the best team. Couple power.

I cannot answer your questions yet because I am just starting with something I had no idea at all. But I want to fulfill my curiosity by finding out.

And I am ready to learn everything

Berenadeta

Couple power is the best! But you need to work at it sometimes. It isn't all roses.

Many questions !

When you get answers, write to me!

To Your Success!
