My Progress Thus Far

I joined wealthy affiliate almost a year ago already and had such a huge drive when I started and unfortunately, I lost the drive a few months in and removed my premium status and honestly didn't do much in terms of trying to be successful or financially stable.

I found it so hard and frustrating for me to even get out of bed thinking "what's the point".

I struggle a lot with staying motivated and happy with the task at hand and lately I have finally been having a change of heart so to speak. I am beginning to feel my motivation back and my thoughts are changing to be a lot more positive.

I want this, I want to be successful and financially stable and not have to worry about my mom having to go to work every day at 5am.

I want to finally start living the life I have always wanted, and be able to focus on my music while making money at home doing hard work every single day.

It's hard for me not seeing results instantly and that was the biggest problem I had to wrap my head around, things take time and my results will show what work I put into it.

I am back and ready to have an amazing time talking to everyone here on WA and I wish everyone great success!

I too find it hard to stick with the program.Trust me, it's normal to want to see the results quick.I learned that it takes time to build a solid online business. What motivates me is the bigger picture?

The one whereby a day will arrive when the rewards will start to pay off from all your efforts and you can finally say, ' I Did it!'

I wish you tons if success and everything of the best...

Thank you, Roopesh. The bigger picture definitely is a motivator I just have to try and not be bogged down when I don't see results!

Kfraser, I know exactly where you are coming from. Sometimes I just wonder "what's the point". However, I have just been reading a great book called MINI HABITS by Stephen Guise. In it he says motivation doesn't last. Trying to motivate yourself to work on your big goals can bog you down. Instead set " stupid mini goals", like working for 10 minutes on something. Most people can muster up the willpower to do something for 10 minutes. You will feel good that you met your mini goal and if you keep going once you have started so much the better. Often it's starting that is the problem. Hope that helps and I aplolgize for the red underlines. I don't now how to make it stop!...lol

Thanks, Glen. The mini goals definitely sound like a better idea and something a little more attainable. I think I just am always looking at the biggest outcome of everything and discourage myself when no results are happening. I'll definitely be trying this!

Glad this helped. You know what they say, "You eat an elephant one bite at a time". Reaching mini goals adds up to the big goal when you keep at it. And success with mini goals can keep you motivated and feeling good about you achievements when the big goal still seems far off. One day, voila, you are there!

Same to you, keep up the good work!
