What About Wealthy Affiliate and Does it Work?

You may have come across Wealthy Affiliate when searching for information on how to start a online business from home. I’ll be frank, from the outset that the Wealthy Affiliate scam is more than an online business sales pitch by some internet marketing sales guru. So what about Wealthy Affiliate and does it work?

Five (5) years ago in January 2015, I came across the Wealthy Affiliate University scam that promised to teach me how to become a online entrepreneur. I immediate signed up for the free Online Entrepreneur Certification Course offered on the Wealthy Affiliate Platform.

The ‘scam’ blew my mind off!

The conventional ‘university’ taught me theory which cost me so much money. Wealthy Affiliate practically taught me how to make a living using resources that are absolutely free.

Wealthy Affiliate taught me the skills and hands-on experience on how to build my own beautiful website, even without any IT knowledge, and how to promote other people’s products on my site to earn income. I learnt how to undertake keyword research and search engine optimization (SEO) to drive free traffic to my website. I learnt the psychology of marketing and how to bring a string of customers to my website, with credit cards ready to purchase goods that they are searching for.

Wealthy Affiliate provides all the necessary tools and the platform you need to launch your own internet business from home. They also provide one of the best webhosting and support platform on the internet.

With a Premium Account, you can host up to 25 websites. They have 24-hour support and the customer service response is excellent. The platform has made is simpler for anyone, even complete newbie’s, to establish their own online presence.

Let me warn you that Wealthy Affiliate is not for the faint-hearted. There are over a million members but many have not succeeded and left in disappointment.

So what is it about Wealthy Affiliate that you must know to succeed?

1. 1. Invest some TIME

Wealthy Affiliate is not an easy get-rich-quick scheme that can make you a millionaire overnight. It demands some serious investment of time on your part.

Wealthy Affiliate is a learning community of passionate entrepreneurs and people who want to learn the skills of developing their own websites. There are five (5) phases or modules of the Online Entrepreneurship Certification Training which takes you by the hand step-by-step. Also, there are many trainings and support provided by the members.

1. 3. DETERMINATION and PERSEVERANCE

From the beginning, you will set your goals. There are two important success ingredients without which failure is certain is determination to achieve your set goals and the perseverance on that journey. Success is not an overnight phenomenon. It is very progressive and a journey that those you are determined and persevere take.

1. 4. SELF-DISCIPLINE

I must stress the importance of self-discipline. Like any other business venture or education, self-motivation and discipline are fuel that takes you on the journey. I got distracted many times and it did cost me dearly, particularly in forgone opportunities.

Wealthy Affiliate offers an interaction and supportive community. Be part of the community, share your stories and connect with like-minded people. The network will help you grow. I have never come across such a community like I find at Wealthy Affiliate. They treat you with empathy. A word of caution through to abide by the Community Code of Conduct.

My own journey at Wealthy Affiliate hasn’t been consistent. At one stage, I disengaged for two years, which resulted in me losing some of my sites. But somehow I still had my Premium Account renewed

One day I logged onto my Amazon Associates account and found that I have make $57.23! This was earnings for 4 months. I was so excited and got motivated again to work on my websites.

So does Wealthy Affiliate work? The answer is YES!

You just have to put in some effort, learn, and be consistent until you achieve your goals. You will set these goals in Learning Phase 1. Don’t forget to celebrate your success along the journey.

Is Wealthy Affiliate a scam? Certainly Not! You will never find any online entrepreneurship training as comprehensive as Wealthy Affiliate. It's the members who will either create success with WA or give up when the going gets touch. Remember, nothing in life comes easily.
