I just have a quick question that went through my head today...
I have a blog about electronic gadgets and I know it is a very, very competitive niche. I am struggling to get even one of my posts to rank on first page. Is this because of the competitive niche?
I would like to know if you think it is possible to make it in this type of competitive niche?

You should never worry about competition, because if there is competition, it means that people are making money there. Also, you should understand that you are starting out as a beginner right now, but with time and focus, you will become an expert in this niche. It may look like you can't compete with the "professionals" right now, but you will be able to...that's what the WA training will teach you.
Building a business has to start from a beginning point. Your site may look a bit boring in the beginning, and it may seem like a tough task ahead to join a competitive market, but there's always room in any industry for passionate, knowledgable, and engaging business owners.

Hi CJ, I am in a competitive niche too but as Polycount just pointed out it takes time, keep writing good content and sticking at it. I am now into my third month and even when I started I said that I will give it 6 months until I make a sale and I am still sticking to that, so keep at it and try and write quality not quantity - it will happen!

How long have you been at it? A month? More? It can take time.
It's definitely possible to make it in a competitive niche, you just need to write better content more often than your competitors. If you can't do that, consider switching niches, because it'll be very tough otherwise.

Hi polycount,
My blog is 2 months old (I know it is still young). I would just like to see some credit for all the hours I put in and I don't want all that effort to be for nothing if I am going to have to change my niche.
