Hello, everyone.... I was hoping to get some clicks with that title!

I need some help. I am struggling with post titles and keywords. From what I understand, the keyword should be in the post title, as well as the first paragraph or two of the post. What I am struggling with is, how much latitude do I have with that keyword in my post title? Meaning, that if my keyword is Tom Dixon Lighting (QSR 99), can my post title be "Everything you want to know about Tom Dixon Lighting"? Or "Why is everyone talking about Tom Dixon Lighting?" Or, "Tom Dixon Lighting - Top 5"?

Can anyone give me some other examples of ways to use the keyword in the post title?

Thank you for pointing this out to me. The reason I used that title, is that I sometimes have difficulty getting much of a response on questions.

I usually write the title without bothering about the keyword issue.
Then I use the keyword tool to find out an appropriate SEO title.
I believe that it's the SEO title and the SEO description which is crucial.

Yup, all of the above.

Thank you!

So, if that is the case, and I have already published the article as "Tom Dixon Lighting", can I change the title now? Or will that mess up my URL and SEO? If so, what is the best way to handle that?

You don't want to change them once they are published.

Would it be okay to delete that post, and republish under a new title?

If you want to change your title, now's the time.

I mean ...unless you are getting significant traffic, or you have a page 1 listing in Google right now for the keyword you're going for, change it.

Do what feels right, and do what would make sense to a human reading it.

Definitely not getting traffic, or ranking on page 1. Thanks for your input.
