Hi WA friends. What do you think would be a better niche? Workouts foe dads, such as nutrition, quick workouts, building muscle, general fitness etc.

Or dumbbell workouts for dads, more focused just on dumbbell workouts only? If I already have first started can I use the same site and switch into the latter slowly?

Thank you Jeff, it’s gonna kill me to start over again. I started 3 sites before WA and wrote a ton of content. I am now learning here that I have way to broad niches. Whatever it takes my friends.....gonna be a late night.

Keep that content saved, Jerry ! You might need it again, and if you don't, you could always turn it into an eBook!

The first one is quite broad. Could you cover every last detail? If not then it's not a niche.

That’s what I’m starting to realize, all my sites are too broad. Thank you for your help.

Would it be better to be dumbbell workouts for dads or just dumbbell workouts for men and women?

I think dumbbell workouts and not limit it any further as the products will be the same for everyone.

Hi, dumbbell workouts definitely. The first one didn't sit right it is not drilled down or refined..

One niche a site. You can use same however customized to your second. You may need to search for relevant keywords and rewrite quality rich content.

Great, if I have started the other with various articles (10 or so can I keep this site and start writing only for dumbbells, or should I dump the whole thing?

If I can keep should I take down all articles not solely dumbbell related?

I'd also drill it down as to what dumbbell exercises you are addressing and to what group. Who would benefit most from what you have to offer, what's my target audience.

You can start off with a miro niche and once your site starts gaining traffic traction and authority you can then scale.

You can start a different site if you like and leave the other one for now. You may come to it later and do something with it.

Ask support to do you a staging site and when that is complete you can start over.-- explain to them what you are doing.

I also advice you also back up your site , you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

I actually host that site with siteground, I recently signed up here. I can do staging there. Are you saying stage the existing site, delete original articles then write just dumbbell articles and relaunch the staging copy to keep the workoutdad.com domain?

Ok then, do a full sites back up see comment above (exact same copy of existing site) and start over.

If you want to use you may upload files onto a subdomain or different domain. A staging site is used when you want to test new processes however not on main. If everything goes great and as planned, you then move it to main.

Alternatively, reach out to siteground support.

Thank you! I will hate to get rid of my existing work but narrowing down will hopefully generate some traffic.
