Hey - just wanting some advice. I want to brand slightly differently with a better domain name. I have been active on my current Domain for almost 1 month here at WA. If I change to a new Domain, what will it do to my rankings in Google etc?
Also - is it easy to do? I assume you just get the new domain and somehow point my exiting site to the new domain name.
Thoughts? Thanks in anticipation.

I did this just yesterday. So couple of things.
Yes, You get to keep your rankings. As all of your old links will have a 301 permanent redirect setup automatically once you move. So if anyone go to the old link it will simply redirect to the new page. So for example: MyOldWebsite123.c0m/about-me will now redirect to --> MyNewWebsite123.c0m/about-me.
Yes It is really easy. All you have to do is go to: Siterubix > SiteManager > Move. - After that it takes a few seconds and your website is moved.
When I did this, I backed up my website first.
Dashboard > Tools > Export > All Content > Download Export File. (Just as a habit and a precaution)
Remember:
You must have bought your new domain beforehand and point the DNS servers to WA already. Don't do this within seconds of buying the new domain as it takes awhile for the DNS settings to resolve. If you haven't pointed the DNS settings to WA nameservers in your new domain name then it will give you an error.
YES: Move SiteRubix.com domain => Domain you Own
YES: Move Domain you own => Domain you own
Also make sure you don't delete your old website for awhile. This is because you need to give Google time to realize your old website has moved. (I would just keep it there till the domain expires)
Finally here's a video from Kyle.

If you are talking about just changing the domain name.
You can purchase another domain name and point it to
your current website domain name. Your ranking will
certainly change. You should then remove the current
domain from Google Webmaster Tools and add the
new one to avoid duplicate content. Not great!
You sure you want to go through all that?

Hi. Yes, it is easy to do. Just like you did before. You wouldn't want to copy your information over from the older domain to the new one though, Google would get you for duplicate content. It' would just be like starting over.
