Hi all, I was wondering, could I use a domain that is different than my sites title?

For example if I wanted a site about car brakes called "how to fix your brakes .com" could my domain be fixbrakes.com?

Or something like resistance band workouts as a site title, but while using a domain like
"with resistance bands.com"

Nice to know, Jerry, glad to know! I was not sure myself!

There is always something new to learn lol. I'm wondering if I should use a domain that is not exact but is a good keyword.

Why not? Try it! Since the cost of a domain is low, nothing ventured nothing gained, Jerry! If it doesn't work out you could always sell it, let it expire, or use something else!

Your domain and site title do not have to be identical, although they could be. The example you shared above would be completely fine :)

Thank you Jaz, I feel like there are more keyword searches with a domain name that does not make as much sense as a site title for what I am thinking about doing.

Having keywords in the domain is not as important as it used to be since it is your content that will drive traffic more so than the domain name.
