I would like to ask if it was possible to combine to different domains and make it one? example: lossbellyfat.com and mypets.com

Sorry these are silly examples but l just needed to be more specific.

Thank you all in advance!

The simple answer is yes, and there are many different ways that you can do it each with their own advantages and disadvantages in regards to SEO and user/reader friendliness.

It wholly depends on what exactly you are trying to achieve and the reasons behind it as to what the best path to advise would be.

You could Google namerserver redirects or 301 webpage redirects as a starter but be warned it is a minefield of info that can get confusing.

Hi,

Simply put ,no you can't. domains are like real estate online ,you bought that one and can only sell it ,don't use it anymore or be very active with it :-)
And if the niches are different it is not a good idea anyway to combine, a matter of relevance and building authority

All the best,
Luc

It is not a good idea Fiona. It is important that you speak to a targeted audience. So let's say in my pets.com. I would start with say lizards and I would write 20 articles about lizards and then I would go on to another reptile And writing Another20 articles.

It is possible that somebody who wants information about their hamster will also want to lose belly fat. However it may be only one in a thousand readers so don't confuse your readers you need to send them clear messages. You need to send the messages to buy or recommend one thing that they're interested in not across 2 niches.

Hope this makes more sense. My recommendation is that you create an avatar of your reader. That is your ideal reader.Give them A gender, and age, whether they live, how much money did they earn, what do they need to know. In other words what are their pain points and always right towards that one person. I know they are a collective but you should always be writing as if to one person

Me and a couple of hundred other people, there's loads of people here know more than I do and no to people here to help more than I do, but thank you.

I forgot to say before if I was in a pet site and usually link how to lose belly fat or an article how to lose belly fat I would completely disregard your website because I wouldn't think you are an authority in your niche.I would think you are talking to everyone and everyone is not a niche

There's no easy answer but I'm going to say no.

Those niches are too far apart to function under the same roof in my opinion.

Domains can't be combined either way. You can transfer the content from another domain under the other or vice versa. Or you can create a third one and combine the content there if you want to assimilate to names. Does this make sense?
