Can this be done?

I know websites where I can enter a domain name to see which keywords it uses. So no problem if i have a list of competitors sites, I can check them all for their keywords etc.

But how about if that's reversed. I have a keyword and I want to see a list of sites that use it? is there a way to do that easily.

I could go to Google, look at the exact match results for the keyword and then go through them manually picking out the individual domains. But a bit time consuming.

Type in your key word like this in the search engine "key word" google will pick up on the key word or key word phase lets say "hotels" this then will bring up all sights using this key word, if you type in "hotels in Thailand" it will bring up all the sites using this in their key word heading on site description, and if the number is low enough see if you can get a URL with those key words in it, that way you will rank higher. I hope I got this right and it is of some help. If you need back links here's a good way of doing it: type in to the search box: your Keywords "Powered by wordpress" "leave a comment": this will throw up all the relevant websites that have a leave a comment box, some website will have a provision for you to leave your URL if not just leave a comment and this link: create a website, this will give a link back to your website, if you do just ten a day it will soon build up. I hope this help full to you as well, if you already know this then know worries.

Brian, if you have time would you please clarify for me from above: type into the search box:your keywords "Powered by wordpress""leave a comment". I am thinking this means type in my keywords...and the rest just as you have it? Thank you for your help. I have not seen this info anywhere else.

Nice tip about finding sites where you can leave comments for your niche ☺ Hadn't thought of that before.

Thanks.

Yep that's it Doc, lets say your key word is"medicine", then type this first, followed by the rest, google will bring up all the sites relevant to that key word with a leave a comment box at the bottom of their website. If there is no link back box for your URL put this in the comment box with some comment create a website. then click the leave a comment tab and it will link back to your site, and your done, bravo.

I could spend some time in a spreadsheet to do this, I think but I don't have time to look into it now. I am interested if anybody else knows of a tool or a site that handles this.
I thought I had read something once about getting Google search results with just the URLs and no summary, but I can't find any reference to it.

I once used a site called SpyFu, which may handle something like this. At the time, you could do a lot for free. I'm not sure what the deal is anymore, but you might be interested in checking it out.

Good luck!

Not to sound stupid, but isn't that the QSR in Jaaxy?

That gives you the Google results easily enough. Just wondered if there was a way to get a list of the domains, excluding repeated domains, quickly without looking through all of them and noting each one. I.e. a list that could be cut & paste

Sorry, I honestly do not know if there is such a thing...unless someone out there 'sells' some type of software, etc. ????
