can I post youtube videos on my site without permission or do i need permission?

You can embed any video on YouTube, the video owners before uploading the video agreed to make their videos embeddable.

Look for a "Share" button on the video. That will give you a link which will allow you to embed the video on your site. The presence of a "Share" link is the creator's way of granting permission to share it. You do not need to ask permission or worry about copyright issues when using the "Share" button.

Hi Charles, most of youtube videos that have been created by someone else are under copyright rules so you need to get owner permission or mention to source under your post. there are also another type of youtube videos which called CC (Creative Commons) and you can use ans share them or even edit and use them for yourself without getting any permissions.
