I'm worried my Niche is a little too narrow. Is there a number of monthly searches or another comparison factor to do as sanity check? Like over this amount is good but under is too small? I'm probably going to expand my niche a little, just not exactly sure which way to go and I thought this might help.

A lot of this can depend upon your niche. Also it looks like your website is very new yet, so it will take some time to grow the traffic. Your niche might be too narrow to enter your niche into trands.google.com, but it may be a good idea and then you can visibly see what your options could be. would agree that around 1,000 searches per month is something to aim for.

There is no definitive answer to this question, as it varies depending on the niche. However, a good ballpark figure to aim for is around 1,000 monthly searches.

This will give you enough visibility to attract a healthy amount of traffic, without being so competitive that it's difficult to rank well.

Of course, it's important to also look at the average competition level for keywords in your niche. You can use tools like Jaaxy or Ahrefs to determine this metric.

If the average competition level is too high, then you may need to target lower-volume keywords instead.

I hope this helps Kenneth.

So my niche right now is C4 Corvettes. if I do a search on Jaxxy just the term C4 Corvettes it shows 3,200 searches per month with a QSR of 124 and a SEO of 81. so that would tell me the my niche is ok.

3200 searches is great.

With a new website, you really want to be aiming for a QSR below 100 (Ideally 50 or below) when you are writing your reviews/articles etc.

As far as your niche goes, yes I think you will do ok, but that's just my opinion.

I am currently focusing on the fourth generation Chevy Corvettes. Called C4's they were produced from 1984-1996. Least expensive corvettes on the market right now but the values are improving. Quite a few venders still selling new replacement parts and after getting my site up to speed with reference data, i plan to focus on repairs and maint that I do myself to help others do as well. But only around 400k were produced during this generation so will there be enough traffic? There are quite a few Corvette sites out the but nothing significant dedicated to just C4's.
Do I expand to all Corvettes or maybe still have the Corvette side but have more repairs and maint that I do on my other everyday vehicles with a section dedicated to Corvettes? those are my 2 thoughts on expanding a little

You may start to discuss this subcategory and once totally exhausted, you may then discuss another subcategory however related to the same niche subject. I hope this makes sense.

A niche is a subject vs. a product.

So your niche may be sports cars for beginners, so Chevy Corvettes model you are discussing falls in this category, then you can promote the different replacement parts and repairs. Once that subcategory is completely exhausted.

You may then start discussing Ford Mustang Shelby or another sport car of your choice.

Thus the question, what is your niche?
