Hi All,

I wonder if someone could explain the following to me.

Example: I search for a keyword in the Keyword Tool and proceed to click view competition, the keyword I searched for this morning came up with 15 at the top of the page.

However when I scrolled down to the bottom there is the following message from Google:

* In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 15 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

Does this indicate that the 15 at the top of the page is not the true amount if competitors? Because when I click to repeat search it brings up the following: About 1,450 results.

Would really appreciate this being explained!

Hi Michelle
the 15 results are the ones most relevant to the keyword you entered.
Other results contain bits and pieces of your keyword.
Hope this helped

Thanks for the quick response Jozeph!

Awesome!!

So is it ok to go with the original keyword that produced the result of 15 as long as the original keyword is used in full and not split up?
