Adding Social Bookmarks - Shareaholic

Update:

So I already posted about using AddThis as a great social bookmark add-on for your website. But I recently found a much better one that is easier to use and integrate in your website.

Drum roll please!!!

It's called Shareaholic and it's super easy and cool.

Shareaholic is an all-in-one Content Amplification Platform, which includes related content recommendations, social sharing, following, social analytics and site monetization apps such as promoted content, native ads and affiliate links. This module makes it a snap for any website — big or small — to engage and grow their traffic, market their content, gain insights.

How to Add Shareaholic

You can either go to your admin area on your website - Click the SiteRuix button then click SiteManager and login to your website's admin area.

Select Plugins then Add New Plugin and in the search area type in Shareaholic. Then click install plugin.

For those who do not know how to add Social Bookmarks to their site, he's how. Social Bookmarks include buttons strategically placed on your site that let visitors add your pages and posts to their social sites such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr and much more.

Here's a site that I use - https://www.addthis.com

It is very easy to use and they walk you through everything. At the end they give you a code to paste into your pages. This is the hardest part.

To paste the code simply go to your site admin area and click edit on the page(s) you want the social bookmark buttons to appear. Click on the tab called "Text" (see image below). Then paste in the code given to you by https://www.addthis.com and you're on your way. Repeat this for each and every page or post you want the social bookmarks to appear.
