I Will Never Blog Here About My Specific Posts Success Ever Again And Heres Why!

Last Update: July 14, 2018

So the other day I made it to page one position 2 then page 1 position 1 for a specific post of mine. For the very first time I made it on page ! and I was very happy and wanted to share my progress with the community here so I did. I knew in doing so maybe someone here might copy the post idea or something like that so I just asked in the blog post for them not to but I knew I was taking a chance.

Anyways not even a day later I was bumped all the to the middle of page 2 which was upsetting to say the least so I looked into who was now outranking me. I then saw a couple websites from members here so I screwed myself by sharing. I learned my lesson and I won't let it happen again!

They didn't just copy what I did or anything they but had previously written posts on the same thing and then must have edited their article or something because I did not see them at all on page 1 or 2 before I shared here. It's too much of a coincidence not to be related.

Not to be cynical just realistic. Everyone here is trying to one up each other and everyone else that's in their niche so I decided not to give detail in the future about specific posts that rank well for me.

It was my own mistake I never should have shared it but that's life you live and learn.

I don't blame them for doing what they did hell I might have some the same thing if I was in their shoes. It's just a kick in the nuts delivered by my own foot!

Well there's my rant I had to get it out and maybe this will help someone else not make this poor decision like myself.

Until next time...

Hey Kevin, I’m sorry this happened to you! I can see why you are upset, but you live and you learn. Ever since the beginning I’ve kept my niche really only to myself unless I’m posting it on one of the discussion boards kyle has created.
What kyle has done has helped a lot with starting off your site but you will see that your site will grow organically overtime and you won’t need to post to get comments and such anymore.
Keep with what Debs said, she’s such a nice lady and here for everyone. :)

One only has to look at jays football snack helmets case study website and than the blatant copycat siterubix site to see how some people are here and so sharing too much is a bad idea unless you are so very well established in your corner you can afford to take the hits .

It’s sad , honestly that so many people feel justified in riding on the coattails if others instead of putting in the effort to make it on their own .

If it makes you feel any better the success of those who refuse to put in the time and effort to learn The Who, what , where, why, how of things is Surely short lived .

They copied what works but without the understanding and effort they can’t duplicate it over 100s of articles . You put in the time to learn so you will naturally fare better over time .

Hi, Kevin,
I have never had this before. I am sorry that it happened to you. Your post must have been really good. If thats the case then there is only one thing for it, after all they have copied you. Not word for word but more or less, by the sound of things!

Get back on your website and write a better one than their one and claim back your rank. You obviously are good at this and it won't take you long to get back into page 1 on Google.

Let this inspire you and motivate you to keep beating them and claim back your space.

They obviously like what you do. Sometimes things like this make us strive to be better than we already are.

Best wishes and have fabulous success in all your endeavours.

Thank you friend. That is where integrity comes in. Some people that the end justifies the cause but that is a faulty philosophy. Without a cause there is no effect
We should be motivated by honest . and just behavior
