Always hustling...

I read a really good blog post from a top Internet marketing expert recently that really did open up my eyes about the make money online niche.

Basically, he was saying that this industry is all about hustling which to a certain extent is true. Entrepreneurship is not for everyone. Now i get it. Only the strong survive.

It ain't easy, this whole thing of being an entrepreneur, working for yourself, working from anywhere, the hustle never stops, yes – you're trying to make money online, building a business, even the stuff i sell is not always easy for everyone, some people reach success faster than ever….

If your in this niche then you are constantly thinking about your products, services, marketing etc. It's a 24/7 thing. If you're not, then take a deep look inside to see if this is really what you want to do.

You go to bed thinking about how you can best serve your business and wake up in the morning thinking the same thing. It never stops.

You find yourself checking your blog post traffic stats daily, where you are ranked on Google, how many likes you have on Facebook, who's retweeting your tweets, who basically "likes" you etc. It never stops. The hustle never stops.

You got to keep strong and not compare yourself to others. Some go fast, some slow. It doesn't matter. All that matters is how you are doing. Are you getting nearer to achieving your own set goals?

Of course, this only rings true to those who are ultra serious about building their online business. In my opinion, this is the only way to be to create lasting income. Maybe this is your main source of income for your household and everything hinges on how well you do to provide for your family.

I remember when I first started out in the home business industry and joined a well known MLM company selling protein shakes, handing out flyers at train stations early in the morning to catch the commuters going to work and doing home party plans selling to family and friends.

If there was anything that made me step out of my comfort zone then that sure was it. I remember doing my first party plan and literally sweating and getting out of breath, always feeling I would get judged on what I was doing.

I was a lawyer previously and had to contend with my family and friends passing the odd remark about how did I wind up doing this and all that education going to waste. People would laugh and criticize but they weren't paying my mortgage and bills. So why should I care?

I knew I had to succeed at it because I knew I could succeed. I had to succeed because I had people relying on me. I had an inner belief that I could make this work.

This resolve helped me to get through the initial challenging months of starting a business. You usually know if starting a business is going to work for you in your first 90 days and most people quit during this time. I was not going to.

Through sheer hard work and dedication I was able to make a full-time living and the company asked me to speak at events. I remember when I got asked to be the guest speaker at an event in Dublin. I was so nervous on the plane flying to the seminar to speak that my watch literally stopped. My heart was beating so fast. Always hustling.

Striving to make money online is not easy and you do have to live and breath it to achieve success. If you treat it like a hobby you get paid back like a hobby. The hardest part is sustaining it when you do achieve success. You have to keep your ego in check and not fear success.

I leave you with a great quote from the Internet marketer who inspired me to write this post...

"Increase your skill development and become more attractive in the marketplace, have persistence, be networking with the top level players in your niche, study sales, marketing, influence and persuasion.

As an entrepreneur you also need to be immune to criticism and have a high pain tolerance.

Your level of pain threshold will determine your success because it means you won’t be giving up when things get tough, and oh boy – they will.

I’m assuming you are on the path to success whatever that means for you, i have one advice amongst many.

DON’T EVER GIVE UP. The rewards are so great. Have fun, don’t take it too seriously. Now Get on with your hustle."

Thank you for your comment. :)

Great post and so many true statements. There are a lot of people that forget the hustle, get caught up in "other" things or forget exactly how much hard work and dedication it requires to be successful with their online businesses. They forget you have to treat it the same way that you would with a brick and mortar business. You need to live it and breath it if you want it. Otherwise, you are just spinning your wheels. If it is just a hobby, great...but like you said, it will pay you back like a hobby too! The path to success is definitely not easy and you need to stay the course and stay strong. If you do, the rewards are great. Hell, just take a look at Kyle and Carson. They are a perfect example of exactly how great and successful you can become with your own online business. And WA is just one piece of their pie. They created multiple streams of income, many passive income streams and will be collecting those residuals for years to come. All the best and much success to you, my friend!

Many thanks for commenting. :)

Great post Kevin, It really is a hustle but what in life worth having isn't? Guess that's what separates the ones who succeed and the ones that don't. Very inspiring post Kevin, Thank you:)
