3 Year WA Anniversary
The time has gone so quick that I just realized that I joined WA 3 years ago in March 2014.
It struck me today that I have learned so much from being here and it's a testament to Kyle, Carson, Jay and the wonderful community that WA just keeps getting better.
You can get so involved in building your online business that you forget how long you've been in WA. :)
I've been in this industry full-time since 2002 and seen so many online companies come and go but WA just keeps innovating.
This year already Kyle & Carson have brought out more brilliant innovation to the WA platform and much more is in the pipeline for 2017.
WA started way back in 2005, so it's practically a dinosaur in the industry but at the same time seems so fresh, so new.
Building an online business is definitely a rollercoaster ride. One moment your up and the next your down.
You have to grow through the challenges and obstacles in your way. Your business will only grow if you do. That's the hardest challenge for most people.
Mostly, what I've learned here in this industry is that your online business is not really about your website, templates, plugins, sales, commissions etc but more about who you really are. You can't see it in the beginning because you're so engrossed in the lessons and tools.
I highly recommend building an online business over the long term. You want to give at least 1-3 years to gain the knowledge to build momentum and then scale your business from there.
Kudos to those who are still actively building their businesses and keeping their dreams alive.
If you can grow through the undoubted challenges and work consistently on your goals then nothing can stop you!
I'll leave you with this timeless quote...
"Work harder on yourself than you do on your job or business" ~ Jim Rohn

I am in the middle of my third year with WA. While having no background in marketing when I started, the wealth of information that I have been taught assures me that I am on a journey that definitely has an upside.
Monetary gain has been small, but that is not my concern. I have come to realize that it is all about the journey. And as long as I passionately pursue my purpose the money will take care of itself.
Thanks for the inspirational post.

Congratulations, that is a big milestone. You made an interesting statement, "building the business is more about who you are?" I guess that means, based on your timeless quote, you have been working on you for the past 3 years, and we are really working on us. Great insight. I can see that, now that you put that way.
That's it Claudette. You learn this over time. Most people can't see it at the beginning of the journey as there is just too much to contend with. Your business and income will only grow if you do. :)
