Free copywriting mini-course from an expert writer.
Hi folks.....there is a free mini-course available from Ray Edwards who is the founder of the Copywriting Academy.
The course is delivered by Ray in what he describes as 4 "bite-sized" videos....and I found them to be easy to watch.
Videos 1 & 2 have their own workbooks that you can download and print out in order to make notes etc. I would recommend doing this because if you are engaged with the videos in this way you will learn more.
Video 3 has a copywriting blueprint that you can download, along with some other items. I would then open the blueprint in a pdf so that you have it open alongside the video (in a tabbed browser) and this makes it easier to follow Ray's teaching. I did try to print out the blueprint but found it unreadable.
Video 4 is a sales video for Ray's Academy - which I found interesting in case I ever decide to go ahead and become a member of that group.

You're very welcome Elinor....I would watch them as soon as you can though as I am not sure how long they will remain up on the internet. I would recommend downloading the workbooks and making notes as I found this very useful. Much success to you....Kevin

Just a quick note about this course.
If you haven't yet checked this out then you really need to. Ray Edwards is a copywriter who has had massive success both for himself and his clients.
Videos 1, 2 & 3 are the main parts I would recommend. There is a bit of promotion for Ray's academy...but the rest is pure gold.
Video 4 is an out-and-out promotion for his copywriting academy....
Pick out the bits of the course that will help you....
I don't know if it's my broadband connection that's the problem - but the videos can stall quite a bit. So I paused the play and waited until each video had completely loaded before pressing "play" again.
Download the workbooks and make notes....pause the video to make sure you get everything down and understood.

Did he talk too fast for me....Yes
He talked so fast I could not write down the information fast enough. I wish I knew short hand.
I will have to watch the video over and over again and hope to get a little more information each time I watch it.
I do appreciate you putting the video online for us to see it. There are probably a lot of people who understood the information which was very helpful for them.

Hi Lora - I will be going through each video a couple of times and taking notes. You can pause each video when you want to note something down and then start it up again. i hope it's helpful, as I said before I had only had a chance to watch the first one - I put them up because I didn't want the folks here to miss out if there is something there to help them.
Copywriting is an essential part of what we do and copywriting courses tend to be on the expensive side - so when I saw a free one I jumped at it.
