Hi Robert. I mean for the site URL itself, as opposed to a specific blog post. For instance, let's say your site is www.robert.com. where do you post/tag an image on your backend of Wordpress that will then show up when you post your site link on a social media site, just as it would when you identify a certain image for a blog post?

In other words , I want a photo of Robert to show up on Facebook or Twitter whenever I post the www.robert.com URL (the site itself). Let's suppose it's showing up with no image. Where do you fix that?

Make sense?

It should show up from wordpress with the gravatar you have associated with your site.

If you have one there is also the image you have created with Google Authorship.

HAVE YOU TRIED LINKING OUR SITE URL TO A PICTURE SO THAT WHEN ANYONE CLICKS ON YOUR PICUTRE THE SITE WILL LOAD IN A NEW WINDOW....YOU CAN THEN ALSO PUT A DESCRIPTOIN / TAG ON THE PHOTO....

IS THAT WHAT YOU MEAN?

it might fix it after you do the facebook debugging. I had the same problem a week ago, after I did the facebook thing it seemed to work everywhere else

It's telling me:

Image Unavailable & Share App ID Missing

I went to the Open Graph Object Debugger on the bottom and when I click on that, it shows me a photo with the post.

Is that the right thing to have done?
