I made a comment for a website but then bounced off of it to go create Gravatar, now I cant get back to that site but have the comment saved.

Then what good is it, if you cannot be truthful when giving out site comments.
I know the truth is bitter, but tough luck.

Site comment, you may give your thoughts most constructive and encouraging. Always be polite and considerate when commenting.

Hi - once you move away from the Site Comments area, then that particular website is offered up to someone else instead. You can't get back to it.

Ok then, cant cry over spilt milk, or lost website...so many more to be reviewed! Will conside that my practice one. Actually, the good news is I did post it on the member's site, I am just not getting credit, because I posted it there, and then realized it had to be logged in with Gravatar account, which I hadnt created...yet. But it's all good now. :)

Thanks Diane!!!

Hi - just remember that when offering Site Comments, you are not "reviewing" anything. You are just engaging in conversation about the post you have read. It's not the place to make suggestions on how to improve their post or website.

When I click on affiliate link, it takes me off my page. How do I open link and keep them on my page? Thanks

When you add the link always click the open on a new tab button and this won't happen
Vicki

great answer. If doing it in html add target= "_blank" just behind the URL

That makes sense for me, but what about when someone else is on my website and they click on link, when I do this with other websites I am reviewing, and click on the link, it automatically opens a new page but leaves their website open. I am more concerned about losing people on my page once they click off.

If you do it the way I just suggested it will be fine and you need not worry about it when you are on someone else's site. It's their error not yours
Hope this helps
Vicki

Thanks for your help Vicki, I went back to the linking Video and saw open a new window when adding link for the first time, I missed it the first time. Appreciate your help!

Hello Kerry,
Do you have a Gmail account, I know it's easier if you do.
Also, you can use a plugin called Site Kit, it is a plugin from Google so it works really well.

I do have a gmail account. I will check out Site Kit, thank you.

Wow, thank you so much for your help. I have been struggling with this for days, so glad I asked.

I just posted a blog and my picture is covering words in one paragraph and the other 2 pics are not the way I wanted them. Is there anyway to go in and edit the post?

Yes, you can.

Hi - I presume you fixed it? Looks ok when viewed on mobile.

Yes Diane, but thank you for the quick response. It's funny how I stumble and go from screen to screen trying to figure things out, and then it's like a ton of bricks hits me and says "here is the way" lol

Also, when it says to go to unanswered questions to help someone, are they talking about the bell on the top tool bar?

No, the bell shows when you have got replies to your comments and questions.

If you click on Dashboard, in the centre of the screen is your news feed. If you click on the pin shaped icon at the top, you can set it to bring questions up to the top, then you can see the unanswered ones.

Thanks dear!

The post that I am trying to edit is actually an internal blog here in the community, please help.

Ahh ok, the WA Blog here, not your WordPress blog.

Yes, there are options at the top of the blog, where you can edit or delete it etc

Yes, thanks but I did figure it out.
