Benefits of sage
Hello my Friends,
I would like to share with you a little bit of my newest blog and would like to to have your thoughts about it. Please click the link on the bottom of my posts page.
To ease the stomach pain, you could use the sage leaf as a dietary supplement to help relax the muscle of digestive tract.
That will soothe an upset stomach.
Sage has the long story; people will use it as a spice and for healing purposes.
Most of the sage we eat are silvery green, elliptical, with a layer of down on the underside.
I would suggest you choose fresh sage over the dried form of the herbs since it is superior in flavor.
I will recommend you to increase intake of sage as a seasoning in food if you have inflammatory conditions, like rheumatoid arthritis, as well bronchial asthma.
You can make an infusion with the leaves of sage and drink the tea two to three times a day.
I would recommend to you, to not drink too much, because you may experience unpleasant side effects.
Just two or three times a day.
If you are taking some drugs, ask your physician prior adding a new herbal supplement in your diet.
Jacqueline.

Great to Know Jacqueline,
I have never had sage before. And you are right in stating it is better to have fresh. Many companies cheat on herbal supplements and dry the herb in the sun then weigh it for tablet manufacturing. In fact, the companies that produce good quality herbal supplements where they extract the juice then freeze it are far more superior than the dried out herb. You can have a 40 mg juice extracted herb that is much more potent than a 1000 mg supplement derived from dried out leaves.
Hi, Brad, I appreciate your comments about the quality herbal supplements, you have to check seriously before buying those herbs, always, buy organic.
