WA Affiliate Program
Updated

I am working my way through the Lessons which are fantastic and teaching me a lot as well as correcting many misunderstandings I have had on Affiliate Marketing.

Howeve

Thanks wideman .... I read through that Level 3 site BUT nowhere there can I see the ACTUAL money flow that puts money into my PayPal Account. MarionBlack has given me a great answer so far and I have asked for some more but small details.

Thanks for answering me

Best Regards
Ken

There is a reason :-)

1. A person clicks on an affiliate link on your website.

2. They are taken to the sales page on the website where they can buy the product you're promoting.

3. If they choose to buy the product, the affiliate company will credit your account (not your PayPal account but your account with the affiliate company) with the sale.

4. After any money-back guarantee period, and after your account with the affiliate company reaches their prescribed threshold, they will pay your commission into your PayPal (or other payment method of their choosing).

Please note that more people will click on an affiliate link than will buy the product. Conversely, some people will click on one affiliate link and buy several products.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry to be a REAL Newbe .... but in Step 3 above would that be e.g Amazon?

And if so I assume that I would need to create an Affiliate Account at Amazon? OR whatever other similar Affiliate Company e.g ClickBank etc etc ...

I also Assume that it means that the particular Affiliate Company, whoever they may be, will ask for my PayPal details at that point.

I am guessing then that the money passes between the particular Affiliate Account of the Affiliate Company (ClickBank etc etc ...) and my PayPal Account AND at no time does the money pass through the bank account of WealthyAffiliate or anyone else.

Am I getting close ....

Thanks
Ken

You can create affiliate accounts with Amazon, Clickbank, ShareaSale, and many, many more companies who have affiliate programs. Click on "Affiliate Programs" in the column on the left to find stuff you can promote.

You already have an affiliate account with Wealthy Affiliate itself so you can promote WA to your readers. Click on the "$" icon top right to get your affiliate link.

When you join an affiliate company you'll be able to give them your PayPal account details if they choose to pay by PayPal. Some companies pay by check and some by direct deposit into your bank account. You don't get to choose the payment method, they do.

Wealthy Affiliate is not involved in your relationship with the affiliate companies. That is entirely between you and the company concerned. So WA does not receive any commissions from your sales nor are they even aware of your earnings unless you choose to share your success stories online.

Are we there yet?

Marion,

We certainly are .....

Thanks for you prompt and excellent answers .....

I am very grateful!

Very Best Regards
Ken

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

I think I set up a Niche BUT Can you tell me where I did it so I can edit it

I am not quite sure what you mean with how to set up a niche. But, if you have found a topic you want to work with, start pondering what kind of domain name you want and search for this domain name to check if it is available.

Then you have to create a website, where you can write, make reviews etc related to your niche (topic).

I suggest that you start with the OEC training first. The training will provide you with the knowledge you need and answer most of your questions. It will also explain the question you have about finding your niche and how to work with your niche.

You will find the OEC training when clicking on the training menu choice on the left hand sidebar, below your profile picture.

Your niche would be the audience that you will direct your posts to. My niche is "disgruntled employees" and my articles are directed to them. I do that by means of my website name: how to beat (as in defeat) your boss.
If you have a website already, you can explain this through your about me page.
