Hello, I joined an affiliate program but the vendor says I need a Terms if Service policy on my site? Where can I find a draft of this please?

Thanks

Just Google “terms of service template” and pick one you like from the results. Fill in the blanks with your own relevant information and publish, not forgetting to check the “no index” box first to avoid being penalized for duplicate content.

I have a "terms and conditions" policy on my site. You are welcome to copy it if that will help. Let me know, and I will PM you a link.

Thanks

formswift.com has a fill in the blank TOS available. That's what I used a while back.

Thanks

Loes gives a good answer below, which may cover you. Which affiliate venture did you join Kenny

An affiliate disclosure.
I am not sure if you point to that.

Thanks

Hi - there isn't one within WA, you would need to search on the internet for one you can adapt.

However, as I understand it, you only need a "Terms of Service" policy if you are selling your own products or services. Generally, all that is required is a Privacy Policy and an Affiliate Disclosure.

looks like you will need to google that - there are a lot of free ones which will generate it automatically.
which affiliate program has asked for it?
good luck Kenny

Hi, I recently applied to join an affiliate program and the vendor has asked me to put in a Terms if service policy on my site. Anyone know where I can find that?

Thanks

You can go to Legalnature or Rocket Lawyer and create legal forms like that. I've used both of them for legal forms I need. Hopefully, you find what you're looking for.

Hi all, I am wondering can I insert a widget into a blogpost?

I believe WA it'self implementing one of the best WP/siterubix plugin, incl. this community site app., so widgets for blogs, why not esp when they're free:)

Hey Kenny,

See screen print below to see how you can find several training tutorials here on WA discussing this very topic.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks for that

I've only used widgets on my footer and sidebar.

Hi all, just wondering in others experience, which referral links at WA convert better when used?

Thanks, Kenny

Hi Kenny, I hope you get the answers you need. WA is your passport to new opportunities. So good luck sir.

Yes Kenny. like @davehayes we use mostly the Custom versions ourselves. We are hoping that one of the things that Kyle and Carson are planning for 2019 is to revamp the main Home Page.

Up against other online training platforms it doesn't 'pop' or entice people in enough we feel and could do with a glossy video on it.

I believe they all convert well, though I use the custom version myself as ones I make

That's my question too

Hi I’m wondering should I make my posts and pages sticky?

Hum to opposing opinions. I think it depends on your audience. I do not use them myself but there may be times when they would work.

I like Nancy's idea, to use a sticky for a specific post. Handy, when you want to get something under someone's nose.

Hi Kenny,
I do a website for a church and I use sticky pages for specific posts. One is the "Welcome to XXX Church." It just makes sense for that to be the first thing people see. The other times I use a sticky is when a special event, like a Christmas Candlelight service, is planned. Once the event has passed, I removed the sticky. Otherwise, I agree that it can be really irritating.
Best,
Nancy

No. Nothing is more irritating than that. I always wonder whenever I'm on a site that has to resort to that why are they so desperate. It gains nothing, just irritates your visitors. This is about crating valuable content, not using tricks to delay people from leaving.
