Hello all,

Thought I would share a few thoughts as I am now reaching the stage of putting in affiliate links on my site. I have and am joining various affiliate programs and when looking at independent affiliate programs, one of the things I check is the % they pay per successful sale.

And so I just wanted to share that having a little patience is really important to this process. Just because a company has a massive name, it does not mean they are offering the best returns..

I would love to get some feed back and ideas from those if you who have already add affiliate links on your sites, on this topic.

And of course as always, have a great day!

Thanks Kenny

Thanks for sharing

Just starting to myself, so I don't have a lot to add to help you out at the moment.

Hi, Kenny. Thank you for your post.
We have not as yet joined affiliate sites because it has been mentioned to us several times that we need to have lots of traffic and build trust and confidence before monetizing our site.

We also don't have enough content yet. Need to get lots more out before we do anything else.
We would love to read what others have to say as well. As you say, don't need to just focus on the big names.
Keep up the good work!

Hi CanP,
Not to butt in, excuse me. I have decided to make a website just for Wealthy Affiliate. My website is finished. I have the Amazon affiliate link. Not going to be adding more affiliates I'll make a website for that:-)
How are you, my friends?
Plus one of my goals is to move out & find my happiness.
The man that I am moving out from, just told me he quit his job.
Leaving all the responsibility on me. Need to make money fast.
I work till 4.A.M. I really like the way my website came out. I know it's not a money maker, books.

Love & Light,
Rose

I am also doing one for WA only also. I was having such a difficult time coming up with my niche. I still have a long way to go as far as content. It’s moving very slowly, but I am enjoying how much there is to learn here at WA in all the blogs that others put Up. So as things come to mind I jot them down as ideas to put in my blog. Which is exactly what my WA site will end up being.

Just remember... Never EVER override quality for either value or reputation.
Wendi :)

So well put Kenny.
Thank you very much, for reputation can merely be influencial. While your value can add on and strenghten the reputation.
Again, many thanks

I think you’re on to a good idea, Kenny. This is one of the main reasons I decided to go the WA route first. Great commission % with recurring income if you can keep your referrals engaged.

Good luck,
Haven

A word of caution, without reputation it may be difficult to demonstrate value. As this is passive income is the commission generated a key factor, especially if it’s at expense of quality?

A very good point. Brand recognition is also a factor. Thank you

Good going, Kenny. May I ask you a question, where do you put the links on your website?

Many thanks,
RP

Hi, it’s best not to overload each post you have. Personally I think you are better off putting in internal links to pages that have them.

Many thanks, listening to Lou Reed, which probably nobody knows him, lol. Drinking and ice cold smoothie that I just made here at hot humid Florida. See you guys off to work:-)

RP

Yes you are correct in what you say, its always best to look through them. As the big names don't always offer the best returns.
