Hi - the most important task at this early stage of your website is to write lots of original, informative articles about your niche subject.
Nobody will see your site for some time yet, so you can customise it later.
Hi - ideally, you will write 2 or 3 articles for your website every week. They should offer lots of information about the niche subject you have chosen.
Having lots of original content on your website is how you attract visitors. They will come to your website to read your articles.
What niche subject have you chosen? What is your website going to be about?

You can go to Appearance > Customize edit your theme.
However I would start building content i.e. words addressing issues in relation to my chosen focused niche site.
