Assurance vs Insurance in Workplace Setting Has Significantly Changed

Do you feel confident that you will have a job tomorrow?

Does the thought ever creep into your mind that maybe my job will be shipped
elsewhere or I will be replaced?

Have you taken out Insurance to cover yourself and your family if the Assurance that was previously given was not true?

The honest fact is that: "There is no indispensible man." -Theodore Roosevelt
"The biggest mistake that you can make is to believe that you are working for
somebody. Job security is gone. The driving force of a career must come from the individual. Remember: Jobs are owned by the company, you own your
career!" -Earl Nightingale

There have been numerous studies completed to determine the cause of
instability in the workforce today. Some conclusions were reached as to
why the results were so varied and hard to clearly define. Several were:

1. People picked a career when they were young and naive.

2. Although, they realized that it was something that they NEEDED to do
rather than being something that they WANTED to do.

3. When work is fun then not hard to be motivated to perform, but when
MANDATED, it becomes tedious and overall interest is lost.

4. The lack of work and life balance then causes conflict, resulting
in "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy." Even when the job is
loved, with no time off, causes one to hate their job.

5. This situation is further complicated by the fact that they have no
power and lack of control over what they do; therefore, there is no desire
to return to this daily drudgery.

6. Finally, the BOSS is terrible and gives further reason to want to leave.

Remember: "The only job where you start at the top, is digging a hole."
-Anonymous

"Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably why so few engage in it." -Henry Ford

As the conditions can change, so suddenly, in our surroundings today,
the thought process has probably crossed over your mind that tells
you the possibility that for whatever reason, your job may not be there
tomorrow! If you are the owner or managing partner, then maybe you
are not worried. However, if you are a normal employee, you should
be constantly aware of this possibility and make preparations for this
scenario presenting itself.

The workplace environment has changed so significantly that even the
methods previously utilized by management personnel has also changed.
In the past, management would exercise proper techniques for evaluation
of their employees that enhanced the overall performance of the respective
employee. Studies showed that employees respected an honest evaluation
of their abilities and performance, good or bad. After all, it shows an honest
rating of the employees contribution to the overall success of the company
and also, if there were areas needing improvement, this evaluation stated
that in writing. Accordingly, corrective actions could be taken to correct
them, if deemed necessary.

Due to the extreme shift in the overall thinking and diminishing factors
of employee loyalty in our world today, it has placed a significant burden
on each of our lives today. Way back when, if the employer gave you his
"Assurance" that you had a job with his company as long as you wanted
it, you could take that for granted. Now, bosses, speak with "forked
tongues" and you had better believe 10% of what you hear and 90% of
what you see. It it sounds like an OVERSTATEMENT, but my friends, it is
"REALITY!"

However, we at WA have taken out the "Insurance Policy" that provides
an opportunity to control our own destiny. "If someone offers you an amazing
Opportunity, but you aren't sure you can do it, say YES, then learn how to
do it later. -Richard Branson

"When something is important enough you do it even if the ODDS are not in your favor." -Elon Musk

"Companies don't give job security. Only satisfied customers do." -Jack Welch

"One customer well taken care of could be more valuable than $10,000 worth
of advertising." -Jim Rohn

By concentrating on the changing landscape of the business world, the
opportunities are unlimited if we as members are willing to dedicate
ourselves to the task at hand. By applying the techniques learned here
at WA, we can utilize these skills to "pay-it-forward" by our recruitment
of new members, development of our audience to provide products and
services that will benefit all concerned. I happened to see a quote that
stated: My job is secure nobody wants it. -redbubble.com
My thought process then caused me to reflect that if we worked diligently
to show potential recruits the opportunity, quite possibly they would want
it.

In summary, it would seem that the time is right for us to seize the
opportunities available and exhaust all possible time and effort to go
for the brass ring. Therefore, I will leave you now with this: "Recipe for
SUCCESS; Heat up an IDEA take ACTION mix it up with PASSION and BELIEF
then add a dash of PERSISTENCE." -motivateus.com
