Site Health is Pretty Good!

When you have been working on a site for almost two months like I was, it is important that you have objective appraisal of what you are doing. Many times I wondered if I was doing the right thing or not.

Niche Too Broad to Start With.

First the niche I picked turned out to be too broad. I had great ideas when I picked it, but after a few posts, I ran dry of ideas. Every thing else that came to my mind was flowing from my past experience. I picked two other niches, but was not able to stay with them because I wanted to continue maximizing on what I had started.

Site Health Need Work

At first I saw this in red on the lower right of my screen when I opened siteRubix and started monitoring it. For a long time, it did not change color. Sometimes I wondered if it ever would. Then one day it did change colors and the message it gave was different.

Site Health Improving

This time the message was in an orange background. I was encouraged because I realized there was some improvement. However, that message stayed on for several weeks before I saw a change.

Site Health is Pretty Good

That was the message I saw last even in aqua colored background. Not quite green but enough to encourage me. I was motivated to click on a button I had not noticed before. That is when I realized that all the activity on the site is being registered and rated in the background.

Without going into the details of the categories being rated, I certainly am thankful that the progress I am making is being captured in an objective way that I can relate to.
