Some ideas for lead generation
A Lead Magnet is an incentive that you offer to web site visitors
in exchange for their email address, or other contact information.
You may think of this is a bribe, really. What you want to do is entice your
visitor to give up their contact information. To do that, you need to make
them a valuable offer. You want that visitor to say, “Yes, I’ll give you my
contact information in exchange for your information.” and then they fill
out your opt in form.
Before we get in to these lead magnet ideas, let’s take a look at how to
create irresistible lead magnets. A good lead magnet …
… solves a real problem.
… provides an easy solution.
… is specific.
… is short.
… adds value.
… can be accessed quickly.
… demonstrates your expertise.
Ready for some lead magnet ideas?
Offer a checklist. This can be a pdf they can download from your site
or a report that your autoresponder sends out. Give readers a quick list
of steps they can take to solve a specific problem.
Offer a cheat sheet. The more you can provide a way for folks to just
get things done without having to do a lot of thinking about it, the more
your list will grow with people requesting your information. This is why
cheat sheets are so popular. This can also be made available as a pdf
or as a report that is included in one of your autoresponder letters.
Offer a template. An example might be an email template you are using
with some success. This sort of lead magnet goes a long way toward lead
generation, team building, and duplication.
Other terms you have probably seen and may just now be realizing that
they are really “lead magnets” include:

Tool Kit.
Resource List.
Sample Offers.
Workbooks.

High quality training here. It demonstrates the vital point, that we must learn to give, before we can expect to receive.
John, you are so right on there.
When we freely give we are always rewarded.
Most people feel obligated to reciprocate.
Even when they do not we build a trust with them.
That always works out to be the best.
