I am trying to add Adsense to my site but have the following pop up:

"Earnings at risk - You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue.

ad it to ad inserter in the section for it - this way you have control....

Hi - I asked Site Support to do it for me, took them just a couple of minutes.

you need to know how to use FTP to connect to your site and upload the file to the httpdocs folder. It is probably best to use a plugin that creates this file like Thomas Advanced Ads.

Where can I find my site root directory?

Hi guys,

Do I need to complete the WA bootcamp before I can make any referrals with my link?
I happened to have made a referral but is not showing up.

Thanks,<

Don't have to wait.

Okay great thank you :)

No, you don't need to wait.

Okay great thank you :)

No you can use your referral link as soon as you join. If you know a person have joined through your link and it has not been registered then check what link you shared and if it is correct.

If it is, and if you know the person used it to join, then I would suggest you to contact support.

Mikael

That's great, thank you for your help Mikael!

you are welcome

Have a look here: http://www.resizeimage.net
It is a great place to recise your image

Hey Kelly,

Your theme should offer you the suggested dimensions to use. You can check under Appearance > Customize to see if the suggested logo size is offered from there.

When I checked your profile, hoping to find your website URL offered there, I noticed that you have not completed your "Follow Me on" section, so I could not view your website.

Another option is to Google search for suggested logo size. You will need to include the name of your theme when you do your search.

Hope this helps you.

Hey guys!

So I'm currently still going through training and building up my site, and initially narrowed down my niche as advised, which worked out well - I love travelli

Niche to choose you need to think it over carefully

Europe Travel Tips is definitely a more potential niche while online adventure Buddy is a bit broad. What you may do is to have one blog category about your personal travel experiences.

My opinion.

:)
Joe

I think you could still keep the niche narrow. For example "10 must bring items for your next travel..." This way it will still be relevant in UK or Asia. Hope this helps.

Which part of Asia are you visiting?

Thanks for the advice!
I'm off to SE Asia
Vietnam > Cambodia > Thailand > Malaysia > Singapore > Indonesia > Philippines > Japan > China
:D so excited

Wow that's quite a few hops but since you're all the way here my as well. You're going to love it!

Take more photos ; )

Thanks! Yep, and excuse to see it all while I'm over there haha
And I will be dont you worry about that! :) you should follow my insta for pics! :D
@roundtheworldwithus

Your site name should be the user friendly version of your domain name. If your domain name is onlineadventurebuddy.com then your site name should be Online Adventure Buddy.

As Sammy suggested don't limit yourself to a geographic area, choosing a style of travel is a better way to go.

Yep it does make sense, I think where I just tried narrowing it down I ended up moving away from my initial idea.
Thanks for the advice, you've really helped!

I think there is no reason why you shouldn' broaden your niche. It's just a general guideline to limit it, but in your case it makes sense to include other areas as well. Maybe you can specialize in a paricular type of travelling - e.g. if you like adventure holidays or active holidays this could be your niche rather than a geographic limitation.

That's great thank you! It made sense to go ahead with it in my head but just wanted to make sure.
That's also a really good idea, thanks :)

Getting Started

When would be the best time to start the bootcamp? I'm thinking of just starting now while I'm setting up my first website, to try and get some referrals as soon as possible re

You are lucky for asking that question now when just starting but in my case I realized later I should have started with Bootcamp Lessons first. Anyway its too late now I am left with Levels 4 & 5 of the Entrepreneurial Certification Course to complete then I will start with Bootcamp.

A couple of people have said that hmm - may I ask your main reasons why?
Thanks for your advice!

In Bootcamp if you don't have a niche it provides you online opportunities to promote Wealthy Affiliate Services and products and be paid commissions.

If your goal is to get some referrals then, maybe you should start with Bootcamp.

I remember that Kyle, was suggesting somewhere in the beginning of the Certification course if you couldn't come up with a niche there.

Bootcamp is about the making money online niche, to promote WA or/and other products related to that big market.

The important thing is to target an audience in that big market, that you will feel comfortable talking to.

Bootcamp is walking you in that direction.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it!

Hello Kelly, you can start the Affiliate Bootcamp anytime. The main thing is that you have a good grasp of the training in the Certification Courses. If you are not doing a niche/passion webpage, then starting now will also work.

Thanks for your advice Harvey! :)

Hi Kelly, there isn't a hard and fast rule about that but going through the certification course and completing that is important as it really is foundational to your success.

Personally, I've been doing some of Bootcamp in tandem with the Certification but my primary focus is ensuring that all the basics are in place.

All the best,

Brian

Thanks Brian, I will probably do something similar! :)

I started setting up my first website before going through bootcamp and found myself circling back to find out that I would have eliminated so many "mistakes" and saved lots to time re-working my website.

My suggestion - at least go through the initial lesson in bootcamp to get a feel...

Hope this helps...Charles

Yeah I think I'll give it a go just to see what it's like! Especially if it's going to teach me even more. I'll just have to juggle both haha
Thanks for the advice!

concentrate on your niche site until you are making money with it and you can leave it alone for a time.
Then start to plan out your bootcamp site.
This way you don't get distracted from your niche and can put all of your effort into this to get it up and running quickly.
Have fun
phil

Yeah makes sense! I think I'll do that, thanks for the help :)

Kel

Whenever you want.

Like edensbox said most suggest to go through the certification course first and do a niche site but if you're struggling to pick a niche then you can try the affiliate bootcamp.

I'm well on my way with the certification course and have got a niche, was just wondering if it would be a good idea to do both that's all!
Thanks

You can do one or the other of the training courses. However, I have found that you learn so much in the Certification Courses you don't want to miss them.

I recommend doing those courses first then try bootcamp. It goes deeper into the topics.
