Can I post the html or javascript somewhere?
Sooo helpful thank you Chartdude! I finally found this posting Placing the code for your widget which explained that and support fixed the validation for the API code so all is well now- yay!!!
Hi Kellsie :) What I had to do was add a text widget in my sidebar location, then within that widget, you can add your script info to have your web form appear. Depending upon where you want the form, you can add it to footer etc via a text widget. Go to your site admin and it is under appearance then choose widgets. Hope that is helpful...I personally use benchmark email autoresponder, but i assume the process is the same for most web forms.
Thank you! I'm just not seeing how to paste it as a widget - I see the add a widget get response webform option but it says my API key is incorrect and won't let me do it that way...no clue how it's incorrect though I copy and pasted it :/
This is very helpful and encouraging though, thank you guys!
Yes you should be able to copy the provided html from the GR site and add it to your personal site whereever you want it to appear (i.e. on a page used for your landing page, or if an opt in form on one of the widgets from your side or footer menu, depending on the theme you have)...
The forms connect to GR with the code provided and those visitors that take action will be automatically captured by GR and depending on what else you are using the form for, a particular action will take place...
It sounds complicated but it really is not that bad...I suggest going through some of the provided tutorials from GR - that will help maybe...
Good luck!
hmm how do yo umake it a widget? Thank you for your help! @Abner6 I am hoping to have it as a permanent form on the side bar of the site

How do I post my getresponse web form on my wa website?
Can I post the html or javascript somewhere?
Good morning to you Kellsie. my name is Ken and I also have GetResponse and you can install on your website two ways, in your sidebar with text widget, and also in your posts.
I do it both ways; I use text widget and copy/paste html code from Get Response in this text widget for my sidebar, and
In my post I will upload my document from Word on my computer. I get the document (content) to look as I want, then select "text" in the "Editor" (this shows all the html coding). I find the place in my document that I want to have GetResponse webform, and then insert html code there.
Hey good question. I hope this helps and I am happy to make your acquaintance.
Ken

Does WA offer landing pages or do I need to continue using getresponse for this?
I have read a question today about optimize press on wordpress, but no answer so far I believe. We have to wait for other questions...
Really important question.
Kay
When you ask the question can you create the pages through WA, the short reply is that yes you can if you have a plugin that can create the page right on your wordpress site...
I do not think they offer creation tool (not that I am aware of - I can be educated on this of course lol). I personally have looked at many options out there, to include GR, which I use as my autoresponder...
There are many options for creating landing pages. One is as you mention get Response which has templates etc. that are surpisingly good IMHO...
Alternatively you could use any of the other myriad of tools, plug-ins or premade templates that are available. These may end up costing less money or more...
I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If you are a creative type, there are some relatively inexpensive options that you will pay for one time (no monthly fee)...
The important thing for me is are the created pages effective, do they support Video Sales Letters and tracking using addition of pixels, and can I do A/B testing and track those results?
What I would focus on is modeling the successful pages and funnels that are being used for the products you are selling as an affiliate. You need to have a tool that can emulate (not copy or plagiarize) the funnel....
Just my two cents worth, and I look forward to others' replies to your question. Landing pages are extremely important iin affiliate or online business in general....Your querstion is a good one!
